IPOB Should Emulate "I Stand With Nigeria" Protesters. by DaPuncline: 4:26pm On Feb 06, 2017
We all see how the "I stand with nigeria" protest went peacefully without no life being lost, no tyre was burnt, no road was barricaded, nobody was forcefully intimidated or humilated to join the protest, no police vehice was burnt, no mosque was burnt; everyone that participated went on with their protest peacefully. I think IPOB should emulate the "I stand with nigeria approach" and stop putting the lives of their protesters in danger or intentionally attacking the security men so that there would be an urprising and they can now use the medium to sell their propaganda. But the truth is lives are being lost and that should make a lot of meaning to them than their propaganda. God Bless Nigeria

.During the Soviet dictatorship of Joseph Stalin. He was a brutal dictator with mind of his own. On one fateful day, Stalin came to Politburo meeting with a live chicken. Standing in front of audience, He started to pluck the feathers of the live chicken off one by one.The chicken trembled in pain, blood tricking out of its pores. It gave out grievous cries, but Stalin being a cruel dictator continued without remorse plucking the feathers out until the chicken was completely Unclad. After which, he threw the chicken on the ground. The Unclad chicken was staggering in pain. Stalin goes into his pocket and from his pockets, he took out some chicken food and started to throw it at the poor & helpless creature. The poor chicken in pain started eating and Stalin started walking towards his seat. As he walked away, he kept dropping some feeds on the floor & the chicken followed him and sat feeding from his feet.Joseph Stalin then turned to members of his political party leadership. He said, "This chicken represents the people". "You must disempower them, brutalise them, beat them up, starve them and then leave them". "If you do this, go into your pocket & give them peanuts when they are in that helpless and desperate situation, they will blindly follow you for the rest of their life, worshiping you"."They will think you are a hero forever. They will forget that, you're responsible for their sorrowful situation in the first place." Breath taking, isn't it ?Now! Take a look at all the people some Nigerians are busy defending on social media. Take a look at those they call their heroes. They are the same people who plunged Nigeria into the situation she is. They are the same people who are responsible for their predicament.#Could this be the Nigerian citizens situation presently?# In ma noble Opinion, i think it is.

IPOB protests are even more peaceful the one being held now. Its the Nigerian security agents who show up, start shooting people, turning it violent.

The only reason why no one has been shot at the current protest is because IPOB has taken the bullets for them.

It is because the Police and Army kept shooting IPOB that Nigeria gained a worldwide notoriety for the killing and shooting of unarmed people.

Nigeria could not afford to make the same mistake in the current protest and confirm it

What about the burning of nigeria flags, destructions of properties, forcefully dragging people to protest ? What about the onitsha central mosque that was burnt or the 2 dangote trucks that was set ablaze ?

IPOB are very peaceful. In fact they even invited the police openly to come and witness their peaceful protest. Yet the army that is supposed to be fighting boko haram came out and started shooting at them.

The army and police knows that that could get away with it because the rest of Nigerian are anti-Biafra and will always turn a blind eye.

The burning of the Nigerian flag is not an act of violence, I burn my old cloths all the time, is that too an act of violence?

How do you think it is possible to drag someone to join a protest? You actually believe it is possible to drag an able bodied man to join a public protest? IPOB doesnt need to do this, they are already very popular in the SE/SS and anywhere they hold a protest guaranteed to be a mammoth crowd. Why would a crowd puller need to drag people around?

The Mosque and Dangote Trucks only got destroyed after the Navy, Army and Police opened fire on unarmed IPOB in Onitsha, killing peaceful protesters. That act is what drove people crazy.

Obviously iPods have cleared the way by exposing to the world the shooting and killing of peaceful protesters by the Nigeria armed forces hence they are becoming to be couscous because the world attention had been drawn into it

IPOB has come out said that they were never involved in that act. If some thugs take advantage of a protest and get violent, does it mean that the organizers of the protest told them to do so?

When people in America peacefully protested against trump during inauguration, some thugs started breaking cars in Washington DC. Does it mean the protesters told them to do so?

Since, 2015 this happened, has there been any other incident. IPOB has made sure nobody is allowed to hijack their peaceful protests except for the police and army that shoot live bullets at them when they are marching.

Nigerians let us get this straight. If any human being is not armed, there is no reason to shoot them. It crazy that I share the same country where it's citizens defend and justify the killings of unarmed human beings. They even blame the people for their own death instead of arresting the murderous police and army that shot them. This is crazy.

Truth be told, IPOB protesters always begin with peaceful protest and they will later turn it into harassing protest and will engage the security agencies to a duel. But maybe just maybe some touts, agbaros, ndi ochi always use that period to pickpocket people. it actually happened to me last year October at upper iweka onitsha.
They were stopping every vehicle coming from the Niger bridge to he east that they will not reach their destination.
I was harassed but thank God nothing bad happened.
ALL MOST ALL THE PROTEST BEEN HELD IN THE SOUTHEAST ALWAYS END IN TRAGEDY.

You are a typical dishonest Nigerian. I bet my last cent that if this protest remotely had any inclination of support for Biafra, the Nigerian security outfits would have been firing their weapons nonstop. Nigerians will jump hoop on a mere mention of Biafra. Try to be sincere for once.

Bros I'am being sincere! Kindly read my piece again without being sentimental. I could recall the press report of anambra state governor after the last biafra protest: it affirm to the fact that Igbos always constitute nuisance and taunt the armed officials in the name of protest or why did wike banned IPOB protest in PH ?
