diggz: Sure I wont lie, After Robben and Ribery, Hazard at Bayern will be our best winger and even as those get older he might be the best winger. With Ribery fitness issue currently Hazard will even be preferable Coman is small compared to Hazard and Costa is too inconsistent. Costa of Last season can match Hazard Costa of this season is a different story In the current Bayern hierarchy Robben Ribery/Hazard Costa Coman 3 Likes 1 Share |

Chelseafan1: Robben at his current level is still more trusted in big games than Hazard will ever be at this moment. Last world cup at age 30, in a footrace with Sergio Ramos, Robben still set a speed record and disgraced the entire Spanish backline The only advantage Hazard has over Ribery is age. Ronaldo currently has less league goals than Lukaku only a fool will think they are mates even though Ronaldo is 32 In all competitions this season Robben as a 33yr old has 7 goals 6 assists in 1,100 minutes Hazard in this glorious season has 10 goals 4 assists in 1900 minutes (Almost double of Robbens minutes) Meaning Robben has 13 contribution to goals in 1100mins and Hazard has 14 contribution to goals in 1900mins Hazard is 26yrs currenly when Robben was 26yrs he was scoring 23goals a season and leading his team to the CL and world cup finals 1 Like 1 Share |

How did Matic perform? Eden Hazard reaching a landmark figure was among the notable statistics to come out of Saturday’s derby victory… The Belgian attempted and completed all 10 of his take-ons against the Gunners, at least twice as many as any other player at the Bridge. In doing so he became the first player in Europe’s top five leagues to manage 100 successful take-ons this season. His brilliant goal included three successful take-ons, two past Laurent Koscielny and one past Francis Coquelin in between. We had 13 shots to Arsenal’s nine, with six to their five on target. We created nine chances overall, Arsenal seven. Pedro created a game-high four opportunities. Marcos Alonso scored with one of his three efforts on goal, as many as anyone on the pitch attempted. The Spaniard also won three of his four attacking aerial duels, one of which found the net. He also won all three of his defensive aerial duels. We had a 42 per cent share of possession and made 326 successful passes. Nemanja Matic completed 43 passes, the most of any Chelsea player. He was closely followed by Cesar Azpilicueta (40), Pedro (38), N’Golo Kante (36) and Hazard (35). Nacho Monreal was the game’s top passer overall with 57. Hazard completed 22 of his 27 attacking- third passes, second only to Mesut Ozil. Hazard to Pedro and Victor Moses to Azpilicueta were our most frequent pass combinations. In terms of territory the teams were very evenly matched, with Chelsea having 49.2 per cent. Kante made a game-high 11 ball recoveries, Hazard next with nine. Kante and Matic won four tackles apiece, while Azpilicueta made four interceptions. Diego Costa made a game-high five clearances, showing his worth defensively, the same number as Gary Cahill . Overall we completed more take-ons (17) and clearances (26) than Arsenal, made more ball recoveries (59) and interceptions (17), and won more aerial duels (seven) and corners (six). It was our fifth consecutive home win over the north London side with an aggregate score of 15-2. www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2017/02/the-data-day--chelsea-v-arsenal.html 1 Like |

'TO BE GOOD IN COUNTER ATTACK IS SUDDENLY ART' - MOURINHO IN SLY DIG AT CONTE PLAUDITS The Manchester United manager claims he used to face criticism for being 'ruthless', but is now seeing Chelsea hailed for taking the same approach Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has seemingly aimed a dig at Chelsea counterpart Antonio Conte, suggesting that the Italian is earning praise for an approach he used to be criticised for. The Red Devils boss forged a reputation for being “ruthless” in his approach, with his sides at Stamford Bridge, Inter Milan and Real Madrid famed for their defensive strength. He was happy for his teams to operate on the counter-attack and accumulate positive results and trophies by any means necessary. Ibra: I haven't hit goals target His methods were not always well received, however, and the Portuguese has altered his ways since arriving at Old Trafford, having been made aware of the expectation at United to play attractive football. While doing so, Mourinho has seen his permanent successor at Chelsea earn plenty of plaudits for tightening up the Blues at the back and making them a threat on the break. Clearly frustrated, Mourinho said of the change of mentality in English football: “My team is playing very well but for many, many years in my career, especially in this country, when my teams were ruthless and phenomenal defensively, and very good in the counter attack, I listen week after week that it was not enough in spite of winning the title three times. Mou vows to keep up top-four fight “It looks like this season to be phenomenal defensively and good in counter attack is art, so it was a big change in England. “But my Manchester United, I don’t want to change the profile of our play, this is the way the fans want us to play, this is the way the club wants us to play. PLAY “But I also don’t want to be a manager of a team who plays very well, creates a lot of chances and doesn’t win matches. We need to score goals.” Mourinho was speaking after seeing his United side sweep past reigning Premier League champions Leicester City 3-0 at the King Power Stadium. Mkhi showing Martial the way The Red Devils are now 15 games unbeaten in the English top-flight, a run which stretches back to a 4-0 reversal at Chelsea in October 2016. They continue to occupy sixth spot in the standings, but are now just two points adrift of the Champions League places. www.m.goal.com/s/en/news/8/main/2017/02/06/32377042/to-be-good-in-counter-attack-is-suddenly-art-mourinho-in-sly-dig-?ICID=HP_HN_1 |

WENGER'S TACTICS ARE MADNESS - IT'S TIME FOR HIM TO STEP DOWN, CLAIMS ADAM The Stoke City midfielder gave a startlingly honest assessment of how easily he believes Arsenal can be beaten under their current manager Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam has claimed Arsenal are too easily outfought and labelled their attacking style of play "madness". Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is once again coming under fire after his side's 3-1 defeat at Chelsea virtually eliminated them from the Premier League title race. Neville slams 'embarrassing' Arsenal fans And Adam believes their inability to end a drought without a league championship that stretches back to the 2003-04 season is a result of the lack of balance between defence and attack in their approach. "The thing for Arsenal, I think it’s the front six want to just go and win the game, and they let the four defenders defend, and that's it, that's how it becomes," Adam told BBC Radio Five Live. "If you can get the ball back and get up the pitch quick you're straight into their back four, and that's the problem they've got. "They are missing [Granit] Xhaka at the moment, but people like [Francis] Coquelin sitting in there, they want to go forward, they've got the intention to go forward, and it leaves them so wide open. "At the weekend, [Eden] Hazard runs the ball 60, 70 yards, throws Coquelin out of the way and he finishes it. "That's the way Arsenal play, and at the moment, it's not happening for them, they are struggling. For an opposing team, that’s how we feel we can affect them. "They are great going forward, The front six can cause anybody problems, but when you get beyond that and straight at the back four, it can end up six versus four or five versus four, and you've got to punish them." Asked if they ever change or tailor their approach to a match, Adam replied: "No, never. It's the same way, no matter if they are playing Stoke, Bayern Munich or Chelsea, they always try the same way. "It is madness. I think that comes from a personal pride. Mourinho gets stick earlier in the season, but he goes to Liverpool, shuts up shop, he's happy with a point. PLAY "I don’t think Arsenal are happy with that. They think they have to win every game." Scotland international Adam also believes that criticism Arsenal receive for lacking mental and physical toughness is legitimate. "That's one of the things that's been labelled at Arsenal for a number of years," he noted. "I don’t feel that they've got that drive, they just accept at Arsenal that it's another game. Llorente opens up on Chelsea move "Back in the day with Manchester United, Sir Alex Ferguson wouldn't be having that, he wanted to win everything, every trophy, and that's why he stayed in the game so long, and that's why he was a champion. "I think Arsene Wenger as a person must sit down at the end of the season and say: 'I think [we've] gone as far as we can.' There is an opportunity for someone else in there." www.m.goal.com/s/en-ng/news/4071/premier-league/2017/02/07/32404492/wengers-tactics-are-madness-its-time-for-him-to-step-down-claims- |

Ibime: Sorry I had to drag you back. We already have players like traore and batshuayi in the same age bracket as kelechi. Asides traore who may survive as a back up to pedro or willian as the case maybe. I can't seem to think of any order spot kelechi or batshuayi will thrive in this present CFC formation in which conte will readily trust hazard as a striker when Costa is not available instead of the younger guys. This actually brings me back to the qxn; what will kelechi bring to the table? You and I will readily agree that he is not yet the big striker for any team wanting to fight and win trophies. A future striker probably. But, we already have future players in batshuayi and traore. If Costa is going to leave come season end then I won't mind having both aguero and llorente or lukaku and llorente as replacements. With the number of competitions and games we will have on our plates by next season, players like batshuayi and traore can battle for the 9 position in fa n Carling cup games. While the proven strikers with better experience help us deal with the pl and UCL games. I don't think we should get kelechi. #myopinion |

diggz: I believe Kelechi has amazing potential and can net 30 goals a season in starting spot. His goals per minute ratio in EPL speaks to that. It is the best . . over a large volume of games as well. His link up play is quite good also. In my mind Costa is already gone this summer. |
