vcole, boldic and others that have submitted. . . Did your bank stamp every page of your account statement? GTB stamped only the first and last pages, is that ok? |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by dupyshoo: 3:30pm On Feb 06, 2017 |
It is a new program, so no one has much information on it. The only option you have is to google it, read up on it and share any info you are able to gather in order to help others. abusaibu: 1 Like |

Good to know. Please did they send your transcript back to your school for verification and is your school a public school in Nigeria? Just curious boldinc: |

I haven't submitted yet StS... I had asked vcole and dupyshoo, etc earlier about me sending the bulk sum to my wife who is the PA and then writing an LOE. Not sure if I would need to send my account statement as well. SlowlybtSurely: |

Thanks for the clarification. I guess that explains why it was that fast. Did you get any notification from WES that they have sent a verification mail to your school for your credentials? Asking because I want to know if this is always the case with WES for Nigerian schools. boldinc: |

My people please I'm still waiting for your input on this: Please how do I go about getting a gift deed? Can I see a sample if anybody has one? Also can anyone suggest when would be the best time to add my spouse to my application and how to go about it because my court wedding is after I've submitted my application. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by 00DE00: 2:35am On Feb 07, 2017 |
SlowlybtSurely: Yeah that's okay. GTB only stamps the first and last page of bank statements. I think that's their standard procedure but you can ask them if they'll stamp all pages. I suspect they'll tell you that visa offices know how they operate. Point is....if they do decide to stamp the pages, great....if not, there's no need to fret. Best of luck with your application |

vcole: LOL vcole. You're trying to get me in trouble. I swear, that wasn't my intention. I have retired from the pun and shade' business. More like delivered actually. In other news, I thought I was the only "character" on here.....well until I ran into the nuke you set off. One minute you're reading regular comments, the next second you're reaching for sun screen, protective gear and dark shades. Who knew a post could be radioactive?!. 1 Like |

If it's something you feel you can make contributions on, please do...as we are in need of insights. merci |

I got my visa yesterday, so I will just tell you what I did. The gift was from my mum, so she swore an affidavit at the high court stating the reason for the gift and the fact that she would not be collecting it back. What I uploaded was a pdf containing the affidavit, transfer slip and my own bank statement. I also stated in my explanation letter that I am a student without a job and my mum was my sponsor. You should however note that my visa office is Trinidad as I am a student in the Caribbean. As for your spouse, I don't know what to say since I did my court wedding before applying. You should look into the requirements for common law relationships and see if you guys fit in. IamIye: 3 Likes 5 Shares |

Hello everyone. I just came across this thread as I was looking for Jobs in Canada. I submitted my application on the 30th of september 2015, and was finally given my permanent residency yesterday. I would appreciate it if anyone with the knowledge of good-paying unregulated jobs can share with us here. I am also willing to answer any question that I can about the process. Thank you 4 Likes |

@SlowlybtSurely I don't think you should be worrying about whether your bank statements are stamped or not. They have their ways of confirming the authenticity of bank statements, if they want to. |
