Why is no one mentioning Andrea Belotti of Torino here?

Guy is a beast.

He is Italian so Conte will know how to bring out the best outta him.

transfermarkt.com value him at 20million euro.

I say 'get him!'.

You're saying this 'cos you know Kelechi quite well. It's easy to look down on the boy's stellar performances just because he's Nigerian. If Iheanacho were to be an European or South American, Im pretty sure you, dyabman, would be rating him as the next big thing. Im pretty sure you would be clamouring for his acquisition.

How many lads out there manages to put their predatory instincts to work within few minutes on the pitch?

This boy is being given cameo roles yet he delivers. This boy has been up against an agbero like Baily and his likes yet he came out on top. He possesses a sharp movement the likes of Llorente, Icardi, Costa, Lukaku, Giroud, Carrol et al would envy.

But then again, the naija mentality has it that he is just not good enough b'cos he is Nigerian.
.........................................

In my opinion, If Costa leaves, we should just go get Morata. He isnt getting playing chances at Real, so that makes him a feasible option.

His qualities aren't in doubt. His off the ball movement is good and I think he would do just great with us. Our current setup require forwards who never stands still after releasing a pass. That fluidity of movement is essential and is the primary reason opposition defenders find it tough to contain us. It is the natural interchanging of players and their positions, all moving in a virtual sychronised way and Morata is one guy who understands that.

His finishing is good too, dude isn't goal shy.

We have to put a lot of factors into consideration before going for that No9. Lukaku is good, yeah we know, but is he available for transfer? Does he possess the right techniques for our system? Icardi and Belotti are doing there business in Italy and haven't proven themselves anywhere.

I'll have Morata for now.

Which one is morata again in this thread..

A striker who only managed around 8 goals last season despite playing virtually almost all games..

A striker that can't even bench a woeful benzema this season..

A striker that can't score up to 15 goal a season, how can he fire us to titles when he comes...

I can name at least 4-5 average strikers with up to 15 goals to their name in the second half of this season..

Or what if I tell you morata is almost on the same goals with batshuayi nko or slightly ahead with up to 5 goals. grin grin

Make we kuku the play batshuayi abeg.. But if we wan waste money, Mk we go carry aubameyang sharparly before Madrid collect am.

You're absolutely right, Morata hasn't had that break-through season. Some section would argue that he isn't even a prolific striker but that isn't what i am looking at.

If I was looking for a forward with an excellent track record of scoring goals, Lukaku would definitely be on top of my wishlist but that isn't really my concern.

I am concerned with acquiring a young forward whose style of play matches with Conte's 'idea of football'. I also highlighted in my initial post why I think Morata is the perfect fit. I believe playing in a system that suits your style would always bring out the best in you and that should be the case with Morata.

That said, I think Aubameyang would fit in well here too, but age and AFCON commitments are factors we must not overlook.

because the temple of the game has change couple with the pressure of big club and league he will be tag with. During Zola's days at Chelsea players were not that subjected to pressure so he had all the time to adapt and became a legend in the club.

Well, I never can tell, just my opinion.

You still haven't given a reason why you are so sure Belotti won't succeed in England.

Are you saying that no players today deal with 'big club pressures' successfully?

of course there are numerous players who had and are dealing with that at present. My problem is players from Italian league haven't performed to expectation bar very few.

Sometimes I don't understand how we judge talent, if you believe morata or batshuyayi will make it in epl them why not belloti?, he too underrated, but make no mistake he is the real deal and he's just 22 frightening potential that's why he is valued at 90million euros....He is one of the most complete strikers, he will make it in any league in the world..look the guy well eye no dey lie..He would be perfect in chelsea.

As any Nigerian players being so good that the world keeps clamoring for them ? Why not stick to Batshuayi , promote Tammy Abraham , i wouldn't mind a Dyabala or Aubameyang If Costa leaves, na Kelechi we go go downgrade to ? I see it as a downgrade bro
