I hate how i feel ,i'm gradually turning into an atheist. I've prayed for salvation, to believe Jesus lives and cares. I asked a guy for help all he said was i should read the new testament and believe everything written in it cos it's God's word. That didn't help.

My buddy, an Atheist told his drug dealer about his neighbor.
There was a Christian lady who lived next door to an atheist. Every day, when the lady prayed, the atheist guy could hear her. He thought to himself, "She sure is crazy, praying all the time like that. Doesn't she know there isn't a God?" Many times while she was praying, he would go to her house and harass her, saying "Lady, why do you pray all the time? Don't you know there is no God?"

But she kept on praying. One day, she ran out of groceries. As usual, she was praying to the Lord explaining her situation and thanking Him for what He was gonna do. As usual, the atheist heard her praying and thought to himself, "Humph! I'll fix her." He went to the grocery store, bought a whole bunch of groceries, took them to her house, dropped them off on the front porch, rang the door bell and then hid in the bushes to see what she would do.

When she opened the door and saw the groceries, she began to praise the Lord with all her heart, jumping, singing and shouting everywhere! The atheist then jumped out of the bushes and told her, "You crazy lady, God didn't buy you those groceries, I bought those groceries!"

At hearing this, she broke out and started running down the street, shouting and praising the Lord. When he finally caught her, he asked what her problem was. She said, "I knew the Lord would provide me with some groceries, but I didn't know he was gonna make the devil pay for them!"

We read Richard Dawkins book and could not believe that it was written by a modern day scientist.
Another obvious area Atheists are dead wrong is in their claim, which has been repeatedly disproved, that most of the wars over history have been caused by religion. But I’m not even going to bother addressing this here: the hypocrisy of it is almost nauseating when one puts it next to the death tolls atheist governments ran up in modern times.

For a while now i've found myself losing faith in God. Sometimes i feel religion is a joke. I still go to church ,still pray but within me i doubt there's actually someone listening to my prayers.

Sometimes when something good happens and people praise God i think it ridiculous. Reason is that good things are always bound to happen. Even to murderers.

I hate how i feel ,i'm gradually turning into an atheist. I've prayed for salvation, to believe Jesus lives and cares. I asked a guy for help all he said was i should read the new testament and believe everything written in it cos it's God's word. That didn't help.

Please i need someone in the right path(a good Christian) to help cos i really want to believe. I don't want to miss heaven.

The reason why Christians turn atheist is because the CHURCH were they worship is spiritually DEAD.
No solid miralces, demonstration of God's power in deliverances, prophecies, healing of incurable diseases at an alarming rate. In Acts 8:5-8 we see that unclean spirit violently left people's bodies'. Many were healed. And it caused great joy.

The churches of today isn't like that. There are over a million churches in Africa alone. But we can't count up to 10 churches that perform unadulterated miracles. Why did people believe Jesus? It's not because of his words but majorly because of the miracles he did. And they said 'THIS IS THE MESSIAH'.

MIRACLES ARE VERY IMPORTANT. THEY ARE UNDENIABLE SIGNS THAT GOD EXIST AND IS AMONG US. though we can't see him.
For a miracle to happen, one must first touch the heart of God. And those who touch God's heart are the righteous. And those whom God is willing to save for his mercy's sake.

MIRACLES STILL HAPPEN TODAY, Like the days of Jesus and Philip. Only that many go unpublished by the mainstream media. Media is not a friend of Church.

The bible supports the idea of a flat earth. The story of the tower of Babel, the ascension of Jesus Christ into heaven, the temptation of Jesus Christ where he was shown all the kingdoms of the world from the top of a mountain, the second coming of Jesus where all humans we see him in the sky... All these point logically to a flat earth. A circle is flat, a sphere is not...
If u don't know the difference between a circle and a sphere then u need to ask for a refund of school fees from your primary school

This is what happens when all you have been doing is the conventional religion thing.You probably haven't had an experience with God,haven't sought one,trivialised the one you had or werent conscious of the one you had.Now you all go about the practices...i go to church,they ask us to pray i pray and lots more.....and you then do all these because your parents or your environment advocates the need for Jesus to escape the eternal fire(Hell) thereby making your basis of serving God,fear of eternal damnation.you then become too spiritual to think rationally for anytime you wanna do,you sre yourself appearing to deny God's existence and power.....Try to build a relationship with God outside church,do what is right always just because you wanna make him happy,do pray for salvation when there is trouble,when there isnt,pray that there shouldnt,praise him,respect him,serve him in spirit and in truth and not by practices.......All these will continually reproduce experiences that will not only sustain your christian life but will make your relationship with him to be on the basis of love.....i cant imagine you not loving a God that miraculously workout a way where there seems not one just because you cried to him for help.....God's grace continally be with us
