[quote author=diggy4real post=53513742] Thanks....seen them all...seems getting an offer in Canada is the key to most....how can one do that?[/q. Not all province require you have a valid job offer. Manitoba needs you to have a link in Manitoba to help you with settlement plans. Either a close relative or friend. You get points for that. Think its a must sef. So if you have one. Give it a shot. Ontario nominates candidate with CRS above 400. (from my research). So if you don't mind writing IELTS again to boost your CRS. Give it a shot I think your occupation was part of the OID in sask. Prepare docs ready and chill to see when sask. OID open next Not sure if its part of OID in nova Scotia, u can check it up |

Good day. Pls gurus in the house should kindly help with this. Can the lump sum for a single applicant come as a gift deed? No cash inflow into applicant account at all. Say An engineer with OND. Worked a year after OND. Then went to the university with NYSC after. So the work experience would be the year after OND and NYSC experience. No real cash in account and NYSC pay stub is the regular 19,800. Would gift deed of 3million naira from father with LOE suffice? If not, any sugesstion on how to tackle this? |

Thetherapist: Gift Deed is what you need bro n yes all the funds can come from ur pops, just include the gift deed. |

esosa4real: 1. 6 months statement plus normal bank letter is fine. You can also add letter of non-indebtedness if you are not indebted and if they'll give you. If not, first two does suffice. On address, you can use Centralized Intake Office. Immigration, Refugee & Citizenship Canada. Sydeny, Nova Scotia or any IRCC address. It doesn't matter to be honest. On a jovial note, you might not want to address it to Accra office though. You don't want them going like "oh yeah, he has picked a VO, who are we not to honour his wish?!". 2. Not compulsory but please do. Just mention that it's against their policy and that's why you have attached a bank statement. Also, if the funds isn't in CAD, attach an oanda or xe screenshot of the exchange rate on the day you got the bank letter. Additionally, your LOE should include the current and six months balance in CAD(do the calculation using the exchange rate on the screenshot/day ). 3. Please change this immediately. Your application is not yet "locked-in", so you can still make changes. Once you get ITA, you probably would've to write an LOE to explain the discrepancy. Also, it goes without saying but I hope your reference letter is not a direct copy and paste. Fingers crossed for a good draw soon/today. 3 Likes 1 Share |

esosa4real:1) same as with Nigerian banks. Get a regular letter of reference from the bank n add your six months bank statement. You can mention it in your loe, I did. 2) I addressed to visa officer, ircc. 3) job function is what matters over title. 1 Like |

There's 100 USD limit on GtBank cards. Don't think you can use any Nigerian naira card to make payment. Your best option would be a dollar card or if you can get someone abroad or with an international card to help make the payment. Adrianbuwan: 1 Like |

Adrianbuwan: You can't pay with Naira master card because the maximum you can do is $100. Open a USD dom account and fund from Abokis. Get the USD mastercard and pay with it. 1 Like |

temitope06: Thanks. Would there be a need to attach a six month statement of account or just the month reflecting the deposit of such cash? Is there also a need to include the statement of account of the person giving the gift to show debit from his account to the receivers account? |

You should send in the whole 6 month statement... If it's a gift of deed, the deed itself will suffice. No need to send in the giver's statement of account. Thetherapist: 1 Like |

Immigrating to Canada or anywhere is a personal and tough decision. You need the right mindset to do very well when you relocate to a different country. With this your mindset, it is better you stay wherever you are. Please, try not to discourage others that are giving it their best. Why did you even click on this thread if you are not interested in travelling to Canada? I won't be surprised if you are discouraging others cos you don't have enough CRS score to get ITA. With regard to the cold weather, how many people have you heard of that died of cold? How many people have you heard of that died of smoke inhalation cos they had generators on to keep themselves cool while they were asleep? Try to compare the 2. Personally, I prefer cold weather to hot weather as you can always wear layers of clothing and jacket to feel warm in cold weather. Your skin will even feel fresher and lighter. Edited... I can still see you on the thread. Why are you still reading the info on the thread when Canada is very cold? Hehehehe deltadeltadelta: 17 Likes |

It is true na. He/she is reading the info on the thread and yet discouraging others. That's the problem a lot of Nigerians have: we don't tend to pull other Nigerians up when we are up. We want to be the only person up so that they can keep looking up to us. We find it difficult to help others. SlowlybtSurely: 7 Likes |
