Ehrnie: -You have to land before your medicals expire. Medicals expire after one year. You can then go back to the UK. But you have to compulsorily live in Canada for at least 2 years out of the 5 years to be able to renew your PR - I think treasury bill certificate should work. Attach a LOE. -Yes please. HR can write the ref letter but it must have all the details CIC wants. |

Congratulations to the successful applicants. This bodes well for the prospective applicants. One thing I have noticed, upon reading the posts of successful applicants, is that without an MSc, it's almost impossible to get up to 450 in the CRS, even when you are under 30years, with very good IELTS score, 3 years working experience, but with just a BSc. Please, let the experts here advise. Cc: @vcole, @boldinc, @esosa4real, @slowlybtsurely |

Ambidextrause: I think the highest will be around 441. I'm not sure. You can check with this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp |

I don't have all the details. Nova scotia and saskatchewan and newfoundland have been mentioned as having pathways for IMGs but to be honest I do not know the details. Do you have a first degree in physiotherapy? If you do, I think nova scotia is favourable for PTs, you my consider working as a PT at least for the first few years. olandofire:Lol. missionary voyagers are popping up here oh. Una welcome. Thanks. Hopefully you'll get the remark with positive results. Thanks for asking, was gonna put up a post explaining abbreviations but nairaland anti spam bot just block me since on top ppr post oh. mtschewwww. FSW - federal skilled worker, EE - express entry. AOR - acknowledgement of receipt, PPR - passport request, eAPR - electronic application for permanent residence, BG - background check, NN - not needed, NS - not started, IP - in progress, CRS - comprehensive ranking score, PNP - provincial nomination program. deeore:hey. missionary voyager, lol. When exactly is the start date for your current employer? The ref letter required by cic specifically mandates that the start date must be included. So, this is my personal opinion. Pursue the reference with your previous employer to the best of your ability. In the mean time, create another EE profile in time for the draw that should come up in about a month's time (2 draws from yesterday) - I am not exactly sure how this is done, it may require using a different email address i guess and I truly don't know how much of a grey area it is but this gives you another profile that would be eligible for a draw after the month of February which gives you 3 years with your current employer. In the mean time, gather all necessary documents and when you get a new ITA on your new profile, you decline this current ITA. Otherwise, you obtain the reference letter from your other unwilling employer and include it in your eAPR for this ITA and write a LOE to explain. Onlineise: |

Your feedback is duly appreciated. Using the tool now, and choosing the option of "Two or more certificates, diplomas, degrees... " shoots the score from 441 to 474! Now the question is, can a BSc plus a certification be used here? Must it (the certificate) be sent to WES too? Thanks again. SlowlybtSurely: |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by SlowlybtSurely: 3:30pm On Feb 09, 2017 |
Ambidextrause: Only if that certification is ACCA, as that is the only one i've seen that was favorably assessed. Yes, it must be sent to one of those evaluating bodies (WES or IQAS) |

The highest you will get is 441 if single and up to 443 if married. With the current trend, you will mostly like get ITA in the next 1 or 2 draws... Ambidextrause: |

When I did mine, my younger brother was still in OAU then, so he went to Exams and Records to get it done for me and it cost me about N8-9k. However, I heard that recently, you have to go through ETX-NG to get the transcripts done. You can Pm Adiahabasi to get more info cos she recently got her transcripts from OAU. owoola: |

Thank you for the response. My first degree is in Physiology, will that help? I also want to ask a question on behalf of my friend who wants to apply as a medical doctor. Do you need to be licensed before applying or would just the medical degree suffice? I ask because he is a fresh medical graduate who is yet to do Internship. Would he be able to assess just his medical degree? [quote author=vcole post=53559758]I don't have all the details. Hehehe, I have been bombarded as well. I am in support of people posting questions here as well, so that subsequent applicants will always have access to the information. I think I might soon stop coming to the thread from April due to some changes in Schedule. That will be a year after my PPR. I don try jawe. SlowlybtSurely: 3 Likes |

trishachi: Pls, as regards these immigration questions, I have been denied us visa 3 times in the past (non-epassport) then I have been denied a group Canada visit visa in 2010, so wch of these questions will I affirm to? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by dupyshoo: 5:09pm On Feb 09, 2017 |
Yes, it is possible. However, you need one primary NOC in which you have worked for more than one year. The rest of your work experience can be varied in time (10 year limit though), place, and NOC, though they should all be NOC A, B, or O. Adiahabasi: |
