toyinakande: Click on username to check profile, scroll down you'll see 'send email to xyz'. Then send an email, you won't type anything however the person will receive an email saying u wanna contact him/her, then he/she replies you and y'all can then exchange emails back n forth. |

AZeD1: It depends on the internal policy of the organization issuing the reference letter. Some organizations affix a stamp, some do not. Just ensure it is done in line with the organization's standard so that it can be verified okay if a search/re-confirmation is done on it. 1 Like |

Current study means on-going study bro. You dey school?? lol! the answer is No. esosa4real:No Canada travel history. Other travel history, yes....UK, other countries in Europe,Asia and then the US. However, i believe virgin passport holders haven't had any issues securing PR provided they meet all of the requirements. byskoye:My current employer does not affix stamps and reference letter worked just fine for that. Blackbuddy:boldinc and slowlybtsurely una wan use laugh kill person. LOL!!! boldinc:I was denied a uk visa in 2007 or so. I answered yes to the statutory question that referred to visa refusal or entry by any country and went ahead to explain why I was refused the visa and mentioned subsequent applications for uk visas that were successful in my LOE and included the letter the british high commission sent for that refusal (i am obsessive about keeping documents ) as well. My husband did same for a previous US visa refusal in 2008 or so. Bottom line, answer the statutory questions correctly and utilise your loe in explaining the refusals. temitope06: 2 Likes |

Lol! I have now decided to delete any PM that comes from a newbie, so if any newbie sees this, pls ask your questions on the thread. Lots of people here to respond to you. I also noticed that some silent members suddenly just pop up with questions like "i just received ITA and I want to know if ......" Abeg na, as una take waka reach ITA no share info, as you still check in, manage share your timeline and experience for others to learn from na. Also, newbies all these "i am interested in canada.......and i want to start....can someone respond....." Remember that this is a forum for sharing oh, not a travel agency. You still try and read naaaa. The first few pages of the thread have a step by step process of express entry complete with how to go about your ECA, how to estimate crs, etc etc etc. Loads of info complete with links and all. This is a process that would require your money and time it is worth your while to read. Then, its also veryyyyy easy to click on the moniker (the username) of that person that you are sending PMs and read their previous posts. Chances are you'll find answers to your questions. lastly, utilize the search bar on the top of the nairaland page and ensure you filter the search results by choosing Travel under section. This is my recommendation and my opinion oh. It may not suit you, and if it doesn't that's just fine oh. SlowlybtSurely: 9 Likes |

Hello everyone. Big congratulations to all who got their ITA and PPR. After reading that my ACCOMPANYING SPOUSE has to transfer funds to my account for POF purposes, it didn't make sense. Why should my husband have to transfer the money to my account because I'm the PA when he is listed as my accompanying spouse in my EE application? So I checked the Canadavisa Forum and found this snapshot. On that forum, almost everyone knows you can present your spouse's bank statements as POF. Please my question is: was there anybody that had issues with this that makes everyone on this thread to believe that the funds must be in the PA's account? Let's clarify please. Thanks a lot. 2 Likes 1 Share

Congrats to everyone who got ITA. I am a Medical Laboratory Scientist otherwise known as Medical Laboratory Technologists in Canada. I want to do transcript evaluation but LAUTECH strike is preventing me from doing that. However, I have MSc in Environmental and Public Health from UK. It is the Bachelors degree from LAUTECH that qualifies me to practice as a Medical Laboratory Scientist. Is it now possible to evaluate only MSc and leave The Bachelors degree since LAUTECH don't want to resume again? I have done my IELTS but transcript is preventing from applying. Pls, I need your advice |

abusaibu:Hello bro, You need to start your age, your NOC and band score in each language skills so as to be able to guide you on how to improve your score however I envisage that you may need to rewrite your IELTS and ensure you have a minimum of 8.0 in Listening and at 7.0 in Reading, Writing and Speaking which is CLB 9. Note that they don't use overall score but individual band score in each Skills and you are also losing about 50 points in transferability Skills if you don't hit CLB level 9. you can also explore PNP if you don't want to rewrite IELTS. I hope this will help you |

vik1984: Hello Bro, I understand your Worries. It is something you can do under 30 minutes once you get a Lawyer who is a Public Notary. All you need is to go to a Notary Public to notarize the gift however I can send you a sample I used so that you can use the format to do yours. Just hit me up through PM if you are interested in having a sample of a Deed of Gift 1 Like |
