Sacrifice you, the children and the wider family bla bla bla...WHY NOT HIMSELF? GREEDY MAN. Real heroes don't sacrifice their family members to get justice, they rather sacrifice themselves.

I think Nnamdi Kanu should be released; not because am Igbo but because I saw that pastor agitate some type of defense against what he deemed as oppression and all they did was give him a hand shake. Many other groups have threatened and did similiar things and are not in jail. There are no clear rules for this case of Nnamdi Kanu. It makes Igbo people feel targeted. I can support the government if Nnamdi Kanu was leading an armed revolution, but all he did was talk and if the government felt intimidated they could also set up a platform to talk and bring people to their side. This action of detaining him for years is becoming foolish, it is making him bigger than what he is. He has a right to freedom of speech; or does he?

Nnamdi kanu should rot in prison. I maintain my indifference to the dissolution of Nigeria. But this guy is not a freedom fighter but a charlatan. Evoking the civil war senriments, Making Inciting statements, threatening fire and brimstone upon everybody not igbo, using crude language shows how deranged he is. Nnamdi kanu is not leadership material.

- The wife of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has said that her husband is obsessed with the agitation for the freedom of Biafra

- Uchechi Kanu said her husband has once said he could sacrifice her and his family for the freedom of Biafra

- She said her husband detests oppression and has always stood in defence of the oppressed.

The wife of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has said that her husband is obsessed with the agitation for the freedom of Biafra.

Uchechi Okwu Kanu in an interview with Thisday said her husband detests oppression and has always stood in defence of the oppressed.

she said: "He is a man that is obsessed with Biafra to the point of insanity and many times he has said publicly that he would gladly sacrifice me, the children and the wider family, if that is what it would take for Biafra to be free. That is the type of man Nigeria is facing, and that is the kind of man my husband is."

Calling for the unconditional release of her husband and other members of the IPOB detained by the Nigerian government, Uchechi said the federal government has no case against the detainees.

Uchechi said: "Nigeria is presently situated in the right context of the word “democratic ignorance”, which prompts me once again to call the government of Major-General Buhari a democratic dictatorship, not a government of the people, by the people and for the people."

"We Biafrans have the uncontested right to self-determination; the Nigerian government and their terrorized judiciary, who are afraid of honest interpretation of the law, should stop interfering in this case because all they end up doing is foolishly showcasing their unintelligent criminal cheating minds before the whole civilized world," Uchechi said.

"As for the struggle, the Nigeria government and her agents should allow us Biafrans to hold a referendum (with reference to Scotland/UK). If we lose, we will stop agitating for Biafra," she said.

"Let me tell you, Biafra is my hope. I see Biafra as a new beginning, a place where systems are well structured, where there is civility, law and order because as it is, all I see is barbarism in Nigeria. My husband is right for insisting on freedom for all of us Biafrans and beyond because without it, life is meaningless.

"My family is in England today, a very beautiful country, because the likes of Oliver Cromwell fought and many died that the House of Commons may be established to speak for the common man. Without justice, equity and fairness, Africa will remain backward.

Why do u have to fight FG. Fight ur govs that are closer to u first and let them know that u are for real. Let the govs, senators, house of rep members support u first then, we know biafra is for real. Anything short of that is a waste of time.

"A part of us is simply incapable of loving this country. We do not have it in us to open our heart to those who are different, those who speak a different dialect or laugh in a particular way. We do not understand why they worship they way they do and we dislike them for that, we think their way is wrong. We disdain the colors of their attires and we are confused by the beads they wear, it does not make sense to us. Sometimes we are angry at them because of some grudge we hold from our recent past, because of perceived and real transgressions we simply cannot forgive.

And then there's the small matter of the injustice of nepotism, the unfair access we believe has been granted to others, access we are convinced is rightfully ours even if we were to gain it unfairly. And so we cannot love the people who inhabit our country, a people who have no desire to understand.

We live side by side, without engagement, without understanding, without an iota of empathy. We are Charlie long before we are Chiboks, we are Jewish but never pagans. Some of us are incapable of loving this country and so we wish her dead, in the vain hope that from her ashes, a new nation of our liking will emerge. We carry with us our sordid past, our heart heavy with anger but no remorse, our minds hungry for confrontation but no reflection.

And we think this has nothing to do with us, after all we love the land, the greens, the wide expanse and the creeks. We like the size, the influence and the potential. We say we love this country. But the people, that's another matter.

We love the sheep but not the shepherd, we want the crude but not the creek dwellers, we ask for the fish but we have no use for the fisherman, we love the taste of cocoa but we don't care much for the grower, we want the wares but can do without the trader.

We want the country but we have no love for the people, not unless they are our kind." - Abubakar Suleiman

Broda, it was all talk. That's all he did. Many tribes in Nigeria speak violence against one another, some even act on it without consequences.

Well, no point waiting to see if he really would've carried out his actions if it can be prevented before hand, right? Thats whats called Treason all over the world. Besides, he still seems defiant in court and his words and actions differ from yours by far. I'd choose to believe Mr.Kanu over you.

How old is Kanu and his wife who were the chief agitators of Bia _fraud let them ask their leaders to take them back to history how their IGBO or is it I BEFORE ORDERS as Zik use to call themselves used their power to destroy the 1st Republic. Name it; is it the leading the enemies of the then progressive WESTERN REGION govt. to destabilize and collapse the region or the refusal of the then EASTERN region to allow for the creation of the proposed CALABAR_OGOJA RIVERS region which is today's Niger Delta because of their desire to control the oil and continue to enslave the region despite the serious agitations against it by the people of the area but it was possible for the same I BEFORE ORDERS under Zik to remove the Midwest from the old Western Region. What about the 1st coup which was regarded as IBO coup which brought about the second coup that led to the civil war 1967_70.that brought about the situation we find our selves in the country today.

All I can deduce from this post is a "selfish man" who is ready to SACRIFICE EGERYONE ARROUND HIM EXCEPT HIMSELF.

Imagine him saying sacrificing his wife, kids and other family members an never talked about himself speak volume.

Guys, get me right, as a Yoruba person, i love regionalism, but if its breakup that is even good.

But please do it without any war, play your card very well. I know an average Yoruba-man want regionalism, and they are tactically positioned for it day and night. If Igbo wants Biafra, position for it, get the referendum and leave peacefully and Honourably.

That is just my little cent.

even without prison the northern Nigeria has already decayed, that is to say that there is no prison in any advanced country that is as bad as the northern Nigeria. And the southwestern Nigeria precisely Lagos is advancing because Igbo decided to invest there.
