''Temy dakolo, Temybaba, Temylistic Temi.... I hailo. I no believe say you go show, I swear'' Marvis said as he shaked my hands. He introduced me to his friends in the room. I greeted them. @yungtemy, i hail u oooo, even though through hectic and rigorous lectures you are still updating... just want to know your well being. 1 Like |

I went straight towards the direction where I was called, with my friend Marvis trailing me from behind. I'd admit at first I wasn't scared because I felt my friend Marvis will always have my back no matter the circumstance I find myself in as long as the problem only revolves round Marvis environs. But on getting to my destination I saw huge hefty strong muscular iron men outside chilling, drinking liquor and smoking marijuana. I swallowed hard. I immediately prostrated on the ground to the extent that my chest began to touch the floor. ''Temy relax everywhere good, them be my bros. No fear, You hear'' Marvis said touching my hands. '' I don die o., eyy make them no go drill or kill me o, my mama born only two children o'' I prayed inwardly awaiting Gods infinite grace and mercies in my life, most importantly at that very moment. I stood up and gazed at my august guest with tears almost falling out of eyes. They were about 10 in number and amongst them was a very young guy. We should probably be in the same age bracket. He was light skinned, with huge carved side beards, he wore a black vest, black short and black socks. He kept robbing his nose from time to time like some who had just sniff some chronic hard drugs like cocaine or any thing related to it. He also smoked his huge Jombo weed from time to time, taking a huge drag of dark thick smoke into his lungs and blowing out light smokes into the atmosphere, he kept scratching his head from time to time as if the smoke had missed its route and mistakenly entered the left side of his brain. He crossed his legs and with him laid a huge black shot gun of which he wiped with a white soft rag, caressing it like it was a puppy dog or a small kitten. I swallowed hard yet again. ''Naso wuna take they end una life. Just small thing go just happen and before you know you don disappear... Like you don go... You don comot for the surface of this earth, you don die just like that.. E no hard. Just small thing. Just smallllll thing'' he said with his eyes fixed on the huge tool he kept on his lap, he sincerely wanted to illustrate to me, what he really meant to say. I responded with a ''yes sir''.... Can you imagine... Me saying ''yes sir'' to a young guy like me, guy wey I even go old pass with like 4years, guy wey be say I fit give one punch, one die, na this one con dey give me orientation. Jesus!!!. I don die o. I kept begging o. ''Please don't be angry. Bros, abeg no vex o''. I looked toward the direction of the others and began to beg them ''Abeg, make una help me beg am, abeg. Na mistake o. Na headache dey worry me o. Na why I hurry run go inside o. Abeg make una no vex o'' I pleaded with them for mercy. Marvis immediately brought out the little gift of cold liquor and gave it to the young ''rugged'' fellow. He collected it with a broad smile on his face. He kept it on the table and crossed his legs yet again. ''you be better pikin... May you live long, may death never chase you, if you dey fu@k up he still no go see you'' the young guy said caressing his gun. ''But Bros, this guy don f#@k na, e no regard men, when he ball enter this location. Which level be that one na. Who he be. He dey mad?'' Emitse said as he stood up from where he was sitting, he held a red cup with his left hand. Marvis immediately looked at the young guys direction and began to beg on my behalf ''boss Bongo, abeg na, free my guy. Abeg''. Bongo looked towards Emitse direction and said out aloud ''you go uproot grass for island this evening... Idiot''. Emitse looked at me with anger written all over his face. He became mute throughout the whole ordeal. ''your guy no fit just go Scot free like that o. Never. Even though you carry creates of beer come, he must still collect'' Bongo said while the others nodded in approval. ''guy show'' he said to me. I went towards him, looking at his face and the gun that rested like a sleeping puppy dog on his lap. ''wetin be your name?'' he asked. ''my name na Temy. Bros I greet you o'' I said as I was about to greet him again. ''you be fool... Na now you wan dey greet abi. Idiot'' he shouted on me. ''Bros. Abeg no vex... Good eve...'' I was about to say ''evening'' when Marvis came to my rescue yet again ''Bros, abeg hope the punishment no too much o'' he said. ''Make your guy con drink palmi. Make e dey dey well. Hehe. Na so. Con sit down for here'' he said stretching his hands to the bench opposite him. I looked at the so called ''palm wine'' in a white keg, it was so dark in colour. As dark as cocacola. I was told to finish the entire keg of palm wine else I would be beaten merciless. ''only God knows wetin dey inside this thing o'' I thought as I took a shot of palm wine into my mouth. I felt the instant effect of the concoction wine in my head. ''No dey do like that you hear... Always dey respect elders because You no know who be who. If not for Marvis we for done play you. Just dey thank your star'' Bongo said as he rolled his next weed 5 Likes 1 Share |
