goldfish80: Victor and Hope have undiluted and unadulterated parents who are sold out for Nigeria. These two kids dreamed of playing for Nigeria. They didn't have to be convinced they were already waiting. Victor had been going to Nigeria as a Child. Victor even get house for Naija sef, his babe is Naija I mean what more. George and Yobo played in township playing fields Ph. George played for Sharks first then Yobo met him there. George left for England his Welsh Mum enabling him to access British passport easily. What happened to Sone Aluko is a disgrace putting his career on hold to play for Nigeria. He was frozen out because he refused to settle and follow arrangement. What they did to him is just disgusting. All said and done, after all that they have experienced if invited I can assure you Hope and Sone will turn up, No Shakin !!! They love Nigeria no doubt. They only problem when returning back they may carry material back with them. Them never marry yet so all the Naija babes, that can cook Edikang Ikong Soup, your in with a great chance Lol. |

Forgiveness, "Even from what I saw, Ademola-lookman is more skilful than all the players we have except Victor Moses" I beg you, no talk am for public that Ademola Lookman is the most skilful player in Nigeria apart from Iwobi. Out and out skill he cannot compete with Aluko, infact he cannot compete with Aluko on anything. He cannot compete with Etebo sef. The packaging of Ademola has really captured you, he's good but that's where I leave it. Leave the matter of Barkley (1/4) Naija and Dele abandoned by a Father, it's complicated. 1 Like |

forgiveness: I can't believe i'm about to say this but u are being too tough on Hybe. Yes Klopp allowed him to go but it was for £15 million and there is a clause that allows liverpool to bring him back. Also he has played more than Ojo by far. |

forgiveness this your love for ilori ehh like komekn said truth is tiago hasn't cut it yet nigeria doesn't have the resources to be chasing every potential good player. if he is worth the hassle then it's a different matter but his form since he signed for liverpool hasn't been encouraging. @komekn what is your opinion of solanke is he worth chasing? guy has a great scoring record for the chelsea youth team is he the real deal or just all fluff no substance? forgiveness: |

with this great amount of talented players home and abroad, I am sure Super Eagles can assemble five different teams with bench and play five matches in different places. 2 Likes 1 Share |

forgiveness: Like I said earlier, thiago Ilori was considered a special talent in his early teen years. However it's been downward spiral since turning Pro. His loan spells at Granada and Bourdeux were futile. He didn't make up to 20 appearances put together in both loan spells. Not considered good enough to be on the bench for a Liverpool aide which had an unstable Sakho, a below average Flanagan and an under performing Loveren says a lot about how unregarded he is. Ilori cannot bench Omeruo and Ekong who are just a year older than him neither is he better than Ndidi who is about same age as he is. I honestly will prefer you list players who are probables not people who obviously aren't in the picture. I will consider James Okwuosa a million times before before this fellow |

forgiveness: My Brother, Try to read news on owngoalnigeria.com. Lookman publicly said his heart is with the English team and he also said he's focusing on his club. In fact, His body language shows he doesn't want any distraction. In a nutshell, He's not ready! Henry is an amazing player, too much flashes I decided to replay a full game he featured for Eupen against westerlo on youtube, I burned almost 200Mb, dube was superb. In my own perspective, he's better than lookman. I think they can be compared very well if he plays in England. But for me o, I rate Henry. 1 Like |

goldfish80: Amokachi invited him.. How he got invited from the Swiss 2nd division can lead us into another rabbit hole... Several players who were not worth it have been invited to play for Nigeria. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by goldfish80(m): 7:34pm On Feb 14, 2017 |
komekn:I think Sone Aluko's dad has mad connect being a senator. Settlement couldn't have been his problem. What is working against Aluko is the level which he plays. Nigerians don't regard players who play in the Championship and second divisions. He has always been invited whenever he plays in the top division. Playing in the lower division is affecting Hope's chances too. Can't these guys seek née adventures in other countries like France, Italy and Spain? The pay in these countries can't be that lower than what they get in the championship. |

Mikel continues bad run with Chinese club Nigeria captain, Mikel Obi, has again been hit with another defeat at his Chinese club,Tianjin TEDA. Still without a win of any shade since his high-profile move from London to the Far East, Mikel and his teammates at Tianjin Teda crashed to another defeat on Monday; losing 2-1 to South Korean amateur team Gyeongju Citizens. This latest defeat is the eighth consecutive loss in pre-season for Mikel and his teammates ahead of the Chinese Super League opener against Shandong Luneng on March 4. During their training camp in Marbella, Tianjin Teda lost all their four games to Borussia Mönchengladbach U23s, St. Pauli, Dinamo Bucureşti and Dynamo Kiev. They suffered more losses against Gyeongnam FC, Busan, and Ulsan Hyundai. The side has now shipped in 24 goals in total, an average of three goals per game. Mikel, last month, signed a three-year contract with Tianjin Teda which made him one of the country's top earners. Though he is getting the playing time he craved for, the losing streak could be demoralising. www.soccernet.com.ng/2017/02/mikel-continues-bad-run-with-chinese.html |

AIG07: I don't really know Hope Akpan too well. At the long run, we should be looking for Mikel's successor. He could be one of the stop gap replacements for Mikel, in my opinion. |

goldfish80: He is playing in a carpenter team Blackburn and unable to play his trade mark passing game ball on the ground box to box. Which saw him playing the premiership at 21 for Reading. He's worth an invite to camp. The championship is a mixed bunch of inconsistencies some playing good football even excellent football like Fulham and then Brighton, Newcastle, Derby, Reading and a few other's. I was at Leeds United last week was shocked to my bone marrow at the low level of technical ability. I am convinced that Warri Wolves go teach them football lesson. |

goldfish80: How can you ask that question I expect that you know how things run in Nigeria. Well one good thing one of the low down arrangement makers is out and coaching in some obscure Nordic team. But he wasn't alone if you know what goes in the scouting process with our official and agents, you will not laugh but cry. |

Wonderkid Osimhen Close In On Wolfsburg Debut After Dazzling In Training Victor Osimhen is in line for his first team debut with German side Wolfsburg after shaking off the injury that has kept him out for three weeks. The 18 year old Nigerian is slowly working his way back to full fitness following his return to training after the injury set back he suffered at the end of the year. Osimhen returned to training last week and made an instant impact on teammate Joshua Guilavogui who commended his display in training. ” He (Osimhen) is a strong lad, very good on the ball and hard to take the ball off him. I love what have seen about him in training”, Guilavogui posted on his social media account. His return from injury will no doubt brighten his chances of making the Super Eagles squad for the proposed friendly games in March. owngoalnigeria.com/2017/02/13/wonderkid-osimhen-close-in-on-wolfsburg-debut-after-dazzling-in-training/ 1 Like |

komekn:The Championship is an OK league. Just that the national team handlers aren't favourably disposed to Nigerians who ply their trade there. It's just stereotype, I guess. My favourite championship team is Huddersfield. The German guy there David Wagner is doing a damn good job. The Jurgen Klops protégé have really turned Huddersfield into an all round pressing machine. They are disecting teams and scoring goals for fun. David Wagner is a very very good young manager. He has big future in the game. I wish to see Huddersfield gain promotion to the Premiership 2 Likes 1 Share |
