Oma001: With the number of documents you are having, if you are not staying far from Lagos; I would advise you to go to the embassy. It is free of charge but limited to 5-set of documents at once irrespective of the number of copies in each set. But if you are far from Lagos, you can try court but make sure they have CERTIFIED TRUE COPY stamp and seal. Shalom |

lono22: The decision was actually a mistake from the embassy. However, you are just so unlucky also cause I can count more than 3 people that got their visas without funding in Lagos consulate this last winter semester. One even happened about 3 weeks ago. She has not funded, and they asked her to send passport and insurance; she did and got her visa mailed to her without funding. You will have to send a mail to them again telling them the whole story. You follow what they asked you to do, though a mistake but from them which can not be seen as your fault. Shalom 3 Likes |

MrEbony: Great! A quite friendly black lady interviewed me..I think she Nigerian...The questions are no different from what people post here everyday.. Did you go to Goethe institute, Do you speak germany, Name of your school, Course you about to go study, How did you find your school, Documents you submitted to get admission, How you applied, How have you prepared for Germany, What you know about Germany, Population of Germany, What you know about the town your school is located at, Countries bordering Germany, How many states has Germany, Name the states in Germany and their capitals, Why you choose the school, Are you coming back to Nigeria, Where you would work when you come, Why didn't you do the masters here in Nigeria, Your motivation, Your Bachelor research topic, What topic you would like to do your MSC thesis in, Who is your sponsor (she asked why not my dad), Why not UK or Canada, Do you have relatives in the EU, Ever apply for a visa to Germany or other EU countries... That's the most I could recall for now. Don't forget your motivational letter and make 2 extra copies..She didn't ask me to re-write a motivational letter (maybe because I submitted it written in ink) but instead gave me a simple test she printed out from the system. 10 Likes |

iamedwin: "but instead gave me a simple test she printed out from the system" What was the test she printed out of her PC all about. Pls share more inform about it. Are we expected to re-write our motivation letter with pen b4 d interview or just two printed copies |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 3 by iamedwin: 8:39am On Feb 17, 2017 |
Pervic: She asked my undergraduate course again before printing out the test questions. It pertains to what one studied at undergraduate, in my case Computer Science. For the motivation letter, I decided on my own to write in ink before going to the embassy. After collecting it, she asked for two photocopies. I have read of stories where people were asked to write it there. 3 Likes |
