My wife has a pending assessment with WES. Please see reason provided by WES as the cause of the delay below; "The document was not received from the institution or the appropriate examining body that awarded the degree/diploma as required by WES." This was their further instruction: "Please arrange for your academic documents to be sent directly to WES by the institution or examining body that awarded your degree/diploma." Has anyone been able to get WAEC to send their examination results for the Senior School Certificate directly to WES? Does WAEC respond to enquiries from foreign assessment bodies the way our universities issues transcripts? Any useful contacts at WAEC please? |

Why evaluating WAEC? This isn't necessary 40manlappy: |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by 40manlappy: 7:53pm On Feb 16, 2017 |
@SlowlybtSurely, Gymme, Wunmimi, Bimpsy99 Thanks for your concern. We are not evaluating WAEC! Sometime April/May last year, my wife requested for an assessment of her ACA. They further requested for her Senior School Certificate. Note that they specifically requested for this and we complied but still no response for them. Negative feedbacks about them in respect of ICAN qualifications also made us not to exert energy in that direction. She has actually "forgotten" about it until recently when she got their mail that they have accepted her ICAN qualifications for assessment but she should get WAEC to send the documents directly to them. |

If you meet the requirements and other suggestions people have given you about possible cause for your profile ineligibility, then the possible problem could be JOB BANK REGISTRATION. Have you registered for job bank after creating your profile? If not, your EE profile is incomplete and it would say 'profile ineligible' after some time. mrsJustveryOkay: 2 Likes 1 Share |

Wow! If this is how they evaluate ICAN, then it is unfair to the noble profession. 40manlappy: |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by 40manlappy: 8:43pm On Feb 16, 2017 |
Gymme: Very unfair. They have a bias for ACCA though. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Bimpsy99: 9:21pm On Feb 16, 2017 |
I agree They accepted my ACCA without any verification required. However, my HND, is awaiting verification cos na Nigerian school. If you probably knew that ICAN does not add any point, you would have excluded it, the stress may not be worth it eventually. Sorry about it bro. It will end in praise for us all. 40manlappy: |

Learnt a lot from this forum. I cant wait to put them into practice. Thanks to you all that contribute and clarify things. And to those that feel they want shortcut and do not want to read though the thread. Please take your time to read through, you dont even need to go through all the pages before you get the answer to your questions. Even while at work, i am tempted to check the thread. Yeah its an addiction I may not be in the pool yet, but I know the grant will happen this year by God grace. Dont give up, gather all information you need and run with it. Cheers and all the best to you all. Gymme: 9 Likes |

Bimpsy99: Thank you. We evaluated our BSc degrees with ICAS way back 2015. WES came into the picture in early 2016. It was an attempt to increase CRS score by assessing ACA since ICAS doesn't evaluate professional certificates. The idea was to claim "2 or more certificates" but I later found out on this thread that WES has not been nice to holders of ICAN qualifications. At this point, we have nothing to lose having made payment for the evaluation nearly a year ago. |

Citizenship and Immigration Canada, Case Processing Centre-Ottawa, 219 Laurier Avenue West, 7th Floor, Section B, Ottawa Ontario K1A 1L1, CANADA. 2. Can a gift deed be drafted by anybody or does it have to be done in court or by a lawyer? Thanks in advance. |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by wunmimi: 7:42am On Feb 17, 2017 |
Its so unfortunate that our great Institute is not doing enough in term of international accreditation of our ICAN Certificate, I sent my BSc and ICAN certificate to ICAS in 2014 for evaluation, only the BSc was evaluated and I was told they don't evaluate professional certificate. Since it doesn't add to my points, I decided not to bother myself with it again. Make do with the BSc evaluated and see where you can add points aside the ACA certificate 40manlappy: |

specrealq: This is because you put two separate jobs in work history. So put a reference letter for each. For multiple uploads, means scan all items together and upload a single file. 2 Likes |

Which is best for you how? Between what and what? The two are as necessary as water is to life. Take your time to read the first few pages of the thread as I have said before, with that, you will have an idea of the scenario. Trust me, its worth reading and investing your time on, you wouldn't regret you did. As for the phone call, ko le werk. Ask your question here to get maximum practicable and realistic answers and for the benefit of others as well. bigheadday: |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by 40manlappy: 9:09am On Feb 17, 2017 |
@wunmimi Thanks for sharing your experience. We are actually looking at another way to increase our scores. @our new members, as it has been stated severally on this thread, you are encouraged to take time to read the first few pages of this thread, if not all. We really need to invest in reading. No short cuts! If you can dedicate a weekend to read the entire thread, you will be so empowered that you would not need to ask so much questions or ask people to drop their phone numbers or emails. Imagine people still asking questions like: "Is it necessary to do ECA and language test before creating EE profile....." etc. This was clearly explained on page 0. Another suggestion: At the top of the Nairaland page is a feature named "Search". You can type any keyword there and it will bring up related comments. You would be amazed to see the wealth of information that you can gather that way. Example: Type "gift deed" in the search area and see what it brings out. You can even limit the search to a section, in this case "Travel" section. Please be generous enough to share your experiences along the way and timelines when ITA eventually land May all our positive expectations for this year be fulfilled. 7 Likes |
