I will be going to ui today and any informations would be divulge accordingly. As for the issue of accommodation i am 80% sure that u would be given temporary accommodation especially those coming outside of ibadan.

Hostel application started Yesterdays,but the Site was down throughout the evening,but came up today and application Is ongoing I suggest you connect your school email address to your phone so as to stay connected.
University of Ibadan hall application for freshers has started. Follow the procedures carefully; 
1. Log into portal.ui.edu.ng
2.Click on Hall Application
3. Insert your matric number
4.Fill in your sponsors details
5. Fill in your referees names, surnames ,phone numbers,  and email addresses. 
6. Click I attest blahblah
7. Submit the application
8. Print the form. 
9. Then wait till your application is processed
