,..sometimes it does..maybe they needed to contact you for the remaining documents like summary of extracurricular activities and the rest..before a decision will be made.If they decided to refuse you they must have done that since... or better still send you a denial email. Interviews are a sure deal for U of T... A friend of mine was shortlisted and contacted for interviews by 5th.march 2016, adecision was later made on 21.march.2016... So if you have applied to u of t and still haven't been contacted in early march, you better forget about it bro.....

yes he later got the scholarship.. the decision came out 16days later.... with u of t you don't have to apply for the admission seperatly... you only have to fill out the scholarship form. both the admission and scholarship review is done once and the qualified applicants are contacted for phone interviews.

also looking at the duration they took to come up with a decision, for instance from 5th march to 21 march. this makes me think that interviews are a part of the selection process. therefore don't celebrate yet if one is lucky to be contacted for an interview.one has to pass the interview first. besides if they want to select 15, they will shortlist 30 best applicants and contact all of them for interviews. it is on the interviews that will reduce the number to 15. my opinion though.

What I know is that one has to pass through these 3 steps before ever celebrating..Admission-interview--- scholarship.. Then praise God

This is a great testimony! This shows God is a merciful one...I know of many disabled scholars who have made it through this scholarship program. If a deaf man made it, you can make too.The lessons we can embody from this experience is that we shouldn't give up or lose faith... I know we all can't make thru once, because the opportunities are limited there fore I want to this chance to say if you are meant to get in, you will get in because once God says yes, none can dare to say no.! So let's have courage guys....
