It was after all these, Di Maria given a try in the said role.

I stated already that Bale was often unfit when he arrived, it was around feb, he got his acts together. It was even rumoured that he had a spinal cord injury which would eventually end his career and that Spurs were wise enough to milked out huge money from his sale. That's to tell you how often I follow Madrid.

Take for instance, in the match against Valencia, his fitness was in doubt for the match and prior to the said match, it was stated that he was running up to be fit for the encounter but at the end of the day, he was still unfit.

Di Maria was out of the line-ups for 3 matches in November and could have been out for 4 matches if Khedira wasn't suspended for the Rayo game. As for the Sevilla match, I just checked now, it was on the 30th of October.. it was close. The point is the Sevilla, Almeria, Sociedad matches were all consecutive matches except for the Rayo match in between them and the Rayo match happened to be the one Khedira couldn't play due to his suspension.
