Hallo house,

woke up this morning to find my bitcoin account empty when as at last night it was over 500 dollars

checked my transaction history and realise my funds were moved to an unknown bitcoin address

and i didnt get mail to authorize any login as i used to either

Has this happened to anybody before ?..is it recoverable or have i just lost over 500 dollars worth of bitcoin to hackers just like that?

Pls enable 2FA asap. It's hard to hack ur account with dat unless it's an inside job. I mean only wen someone has access to ur fone. Sorry about ur loss tho.

Op, before the incident did your device behave unusual eg frozing or hanging, copying your bitcoin address but getting a different address after pasting, key logger not working properly.

Inform support, not so that they can retrieve the funds, the money is gone, enable 2FA and second password, disable tor access

To be on the safe side i will advice you clean or scan your system for virus and malware then follow the advice above.

We need to be careful when carrying out bitcoin wallet transfers and transactions. My laptop recently caught a virus bug that changes any btc wallet address i copy and wanna paste in my senders address tab to another bitcoin address (of the hacker i guess). You may not notice it except you are vigilant at the last stage of sending funds.

Make sure you have a strong antivirus or antimalware, enable 2FA authenticator for all your online accounts, i mean all eg btc-e, coinbase, gmail etc, you could use google authenticator or authy and change your account passwords as often as possible.

Please guys, help wit a comprehensive guide on how to protect our e-wallet! U know boys dem r serious on hacking people's acct cos we r approaching yuletide season!

Sometimes, it's network problems. Check later.

Always make sure ur blockchain security center is 100% Green. Not red not yellow. Enable 2FA, second password, backup phrase, password hint and disable Tor

phone number is ok. Second password is used when u want to send money out of ur wallet.

I think you mean wallet address. As I undertsand, your wallet ID (used for loggin into your account) cannot change. the changing of the adress is to prevent a potential hacker tracing your transactions

Their website is always blockchain.info

Secondly the site has no HTTPS on it so ur information is at risk!

3. Blockchain will never send u a maintenance mail for any reason and ask u to enter ur details.

This is a ploy by hackers to steal ur Bitcoins. So please do not click on any link in such a mail.

Pls forward this message to all groups and Bitcoin users to help keep their Bitcoins safe.
