yes you can i started using them at 4weeks excluding calcium before I register for antenatal at 21weeks gone I just added d calcium my antenatal Doc asked me to its help with baby bone u can exclude calcium for now since baby bone still tiny ..

I didn't know dey even have d one that pregnant women can eat shebi I for dey chop am. I swallowed my cravings until I craved no more come and gimme that one u eating

pepsoup is actually good in pregnancy bcus scent leaf is said to be medicinal for pregnant women just be sure on what the spice is mixed with, like wen I wanted to buy spice in d market d lady was advertising d spice for me like e good for jedi it helps with menstrual flow waist pain blabla bla bcus she mixed d spice I had to tell her dat madam am pregnant bcus I wasn't showing then n she said don't buy dis one let me give u d regular spice .. infact I ate a lot of pepsoup in my 1st trimester

To cut the long story short, I eventually miscarried d baby.
Lesson learnt :
All pregnancies are not the same.
Our bodies differs.
what works for me may not work for you.
Avoid every avoidable especially in the first trimester.

Will i still taste pepper soup in pregnancy? big NO.

Teamies , How Body? I know the days are going so slow and we are begging LOs to please come out. Let's continue to put our trust in God. He that has started this good work will not leave us half way.

Personally I am tired. I have exercised, walked everyday, climbed stairs, eaten pineapple and dates, drank raspberry leaf tea, eaten peppery food, sex on point even with tired waist...still baby just dey there dey give me side eye.

I have handed it all to God. Let his will be done.

Keep hanging on teamies, soon we will carry our babies in our arms.

Make una drop update let me be sure I am not alone oh.

My dh has been cooking some very delicious fresh fish pepper soup for us at least 2-3 times weekly. (I don't cook cos I'm on bedrest)
I was actually telling him that it tastes better than the one I make #Truth!
Some days ago I asked him if there was still spice in the house, so that I'll ask my mom to get for us. Guess what! He has been making the sumptuous pepper soup " WITHOUT SPICES" ? He didn't even know if there was pepper soup spice in d spices containers
I was like what How come I didn't notice? Answer = Lots of scent leaf and plenty crayfish!
So I think you can try that, I promise u won't miss the spices

The reason pregnant women are advised to stay of pepper soup I think is because of those long tiny black spices (African Negro Pepper) a. k. a UDA in Ibo language. It is used as a contraceptive by some women, hence it's ability to cause a miscarriage.

lol that's d feeling but next time make sure to prepare it ur sef ..that's Wen u will be sure u use regular spice not d mixed one..

Yeah,you are right. Igbo's don't joke with uda after given birth. Even when I did evacuation,my mum had to grind and send to me all the way from Lagos to Benin.

The guy dey try I swear, (he adds plenty onions to d psoup too ) when my sister and his niece were staying with us during Christmas n new-year for about 1 month I wasn't eating as much as I eat now, since my dh started making most meals about a month ago I always look forward to eating and smx overfeed sef (then I can't sleep , but I no dey learn) lol.
Gained 2.5kg wen I weighed at antenatal last week, haven't gained a single pound since I got pregnant until now. Lol.

Ha! I told him he'll continue after I born o, or else I go carry belle every year just to enjoy the luxury. If u see d eye he give me ehn! Lol.

And yes you have to wash & iron EVERYTHING!!! A-Z, some chemicals may remain from d factory, we don't want those on our precious angel's delicate skin, do we?

Plz is Calcium meant to be taken only once a day? So said my midwife o but I read itz twice daily somewhere.
