Very normal. Some people waited 2-3 days after submitting online

I got my own biometric instruction within 20mins, though some people wait for 2-3days before getting biometric instruction.

Hi everyone, please is there a way I'm supposed to arrange my documents. I wantto start my application next week ( paper route) apart from the arrangements of documents on the doc checklist. And how do I separate my documents from my spouse's.

Gurus in the house, I just submitted my application for an open work permit, but I don't just know how it happened at the vfx office, I ommited the photocopy of the marriage certificate while filing my documents for submission, also ommited was my cv and current pay slip, but my employment letter, wife's consent letter and bank statement was submitted with my statement of result bcoz the certificate is not yet ready.
Please what can I do, does it really matter in considering my application?,
Can anyone advise?, I don't just know what to do

Marriage certificate is the most important document in SOWP. I suggest you withdraw your application and re-apply.

How did u ommit such a vital document as that, i mean that's like the only proof that you are married to your spouse, maybe you should visit vfs and find out what can be done to rectify it. I ve heard of cases where CIC would also contact you to provide a particular document if omitted. But please go there and find out how it can be rectified.

Open work permit is different from sowp! But all work permits have the same processing time

Well like Ruth222 said OWP differs SOWP, SOWP is for those whose spouse are already in Canada, but all the same you should have included it, you can still send an equiry mail to clarify.

If you both are in Nigeria, how do you qualify for open work permit? Are either of you permanent resident? Do you have a job offer supported by LMIA? Do have provincial nomination? Have you applied for PR? You can apply for open work permit if you answer any of the above questions with YES

@kc4all, I tried to link my app online yesterday but no app was found. Thats quite strange cos it's been over 1 month since I submitted. @Veil1234 have you linked yours? Anyways I had called vfsglobal before and they confirmed that my app is still under processing... they also confirmed my email address as correct, so i wonder why I didn't get acknowledgment email after submission... anyways fingers crossed.
How do I link my paper app online please?

No statement at all from Both sides. No employment related documents at all. We had previously applied 4times for Canada visiting visa with work related document so we decided to keep this simple as possible
