Exactly,as far as I could see ONE Filling Station and not THREE was burned and only the two motors plus the Tanker were burnt and I've been passing through there since the incident..

the fire went all the way from dmgs to ozomagala junction. three filling stations were affected though the other two not down to dust like the first.

Below is a statement from NEMA made available to Politics Nigeria;

Sequel to a distress call on a tanker fire explosion which occured at Oguta Road, DMGS round about Onitsha, Anambra State, the joint team of NEMA and ANSEMA visited the scene of the incident to assess the level of damage caused by the inferno and the needs of the affected.


Our findings revealed that a fuel tanker filled with petrol developed brake failure and plunged into a mobil filling station which triggered fire that razed down 13 buildings of both residential and commercial, household/office items, 3 filling stations (MRS, MOBIL & TOTAL), makeshift shops, goods worth millions of naira, 16 vehicles, 3 tricycles, 168 internally displaced persons and 2 injured persons who are recieving medical attention at waterside hospital.
