A friend of mine recently got cheated by some guy, just because he didn't know the current price of tecno's Phantom 6.

How he got foold all in the name of the hash tag #BuhariPrice. Kindly read his story here >> http://www.techkibay.com/2017/02/current-price-of-tecno-phantom-6.html

Was there actually a 'Buhari Price' when the Phantom 6 and 6 Plus were released?

Tecno unveiled both the Phantom 6 and 6 Plus about September last year (2016), with a whopping N100,000 price tag and as usual, hundreds of folks ran after the shinning Gold colour. Even though they were the ones complaining of recession.

With the current hike in prices of communities all over the country, the Phantom 6 is becoming more expensive by the day.

Currently, the cost of a brand new Tecno Phantom 6 range from N95,000 to N105,000

While a brand new Phantom 6 Plus cost within N145,000 to N155,000

Guys, what's your take on this?

Absolutely wrong.
Tecno Phantom 6 is still not more than 95k & phantom 6 plus 135k anything above 100k & 140k as @ today 15th Feb I'd bet such one wan dash out money.

Bro. I like the way you typed your "Absolutely wrong" grin grin grin

How far you Your signature says you're a sales consultant. Well, I'm actually glad to be talking with one now.

You know these price varies accross retailers nationwide. Though some onlines stores are selling the Phantom 6 more than 95k!

Is it we that is dashing out money or are they the ones cutting our neck?

Price varies depending on the retail outlets. Got a phantom 6 for my boss last week. Cost him 95k+ in slot on the island. Although, the high dollar value has a negative impact on the price of things, the phantom phones are worth it.

Phantom 6 was released with a price of 95k while the 6+ was around 120k. Trust retailers to add their own prices to make gains. Nonetheless, I'm of the opinion that the current economic situation has affected things in a negative way. Which doesn't mean the phantom is not a phone that's worth having.

I don't think that phantom 6 is worth 95k.

It's worth much more than that but we should keep enjoying them for lower price abegi, that's cost advantage.

Phantom 6 was released @ 80k+ but less than 90k then 6+ @ 120k+ but less than 135k but we all know the volatile nature of our economy but that shouldn't be a bait to milk clients dry. lipsrsealed undecided

All retailers are taking too much advantage of the dollar-naira situation to increase price anyhow

Milk clients? Do you know that these phones are the cheapest compared to other flagships in the same period? I'm sure things will come to normal soon and we'll say goodbye to high prices. Notwithstanding, the phantoms are good values for their money.
