unfortunately the lady is right this time around. I thought the lekki gardens case will die off just like that of synagogue but if the lekki gardens case is being pursued, then that of synagogue has to be looked into too.

@lalasticlala, i don't know if its only me that get irritated by anything that has to do with Kemi Olunloyo but please reduce the rate at which you hype her. She doesn't deserve much publicity bcuz she is insane and the last time i checked, mad people roaming the streets don't make front page on nairaland.

Please let's be reasonable here. Last time I check, the 'Pastor' MOG was not the contractor building the property. He was the owner!

A homicide case is a criminal case where the suspect is the one directly involved. If he was contracted specifically for the act, then his principal would be held responsible as well.

The difference between the two cases is that one was a Pastor who contracted a builder who messed up. The other was a Builder/ Contractor who messed up. The best the Government can achieve is professional negligence or manslaughter - neither case carries the death penalty.

I hold no brief for MoG Joshua, but I think we should mourn with him, rather than call for his head.

In the second case, Government should seek to identify the factors that contributed to the collapse and deaths as a means to forestalling future incidences rather than aim to find cause to kill the owner. Nobody builds his property with intent to kill random people!

We should realise the real culprits for these crimes may actually be far removed from these enquiries and prosecutions and free enough to contribute to another tragedy!

As much as i don´t agree with the curses, She is right. Nobody was brought to justice in that incident. The justice system is selective. That is the message and that is what we should all be discussing but some with myopic thinking level, are here attacking her.

We should all be talking in one voice against selective justice because no one knows if tomorrow will be the turn of any of us to face such justice. What is good for the rich (including pastors) should be good enough for the common masses.

didnt get what you said...

but the collapse was a ''felled building'' style ie to say it was controled demoltion and brought down by explosives...theres too much evidence to prove this, the building collasped like it was taken down, not the way a normal colllapse will occur, the war plane was probably the control center...if you get data,i belive the video is still on youtube,go and see for urself

silastemplar:

The two cases are both in court and being prosecuted. My argument is about who the Govt is facing -in both cases the Builders!.

Also, I wonder what Kemi is trying to achieve by dragging Gov. Ambode into the matter that was already investigated and taken to court before he came into office.

Is Kemi also recommending her father for Hell-Fire? I am aware one or two people died during his regime. Let's all be aware that governance is not about the headship alone, rather about the system and teams of people running the system.

In America of recent, the new President Trump gave an executive order for people to be deported and stopped from gaining entrance into the States. An 'unknown' judge somewhere tramped his foot on the order and that was it! That's how systems should work. The Law had it's way!
So why should we hold a governor responsible for what the system could not resolve.

It is this same reasoning that makes me believe the current 'war on corruption' will not succeed unless a system approach is adopted.

Most of the current 'villians' to me are merely victims of systemic corruption. For instance, a large portion of the monies stolen by NSA Dasuki was not for his personal use but for his party's purposes (and most likely) at the behest of his boss. Failure on his part to follow this track would be termed disloyal and against the collective decision of the party. So the problem is the democratic system that allows moneybagism!

We need to audit our systems and thought processes.
