Icon4s: This never ending contention about Ilori not being a waste man. The discussion has centred on Ilori with Forgiveness essentially thinking he is a quality player and Goldfish80 of the opinion which I support that's he is a player that has very little quality and has failed to prove his quality. |

goldfish80: Liverpool to make profit on Tiago Ilori transfer after Reading agree £3.75million deal ByKristian Walsh, 09:32, 9 JAN 2017 Tiago Ilori is on the brink of completing his £3.75million move to Reading – ensuring Liverpool have turned in a profit on the Portuguese defender. The 23-year-old cost the Reds £3.5million from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2013, in a deal which potentially could have risen to £7million. The club agreed the fee late last week, and have also inserted a 25% sell-on clause in the contract. The deal should be completed in the next 24 hours. The centre back moves to the Royals to aid their promotion push, with Jaap Stam’s side currently third in the Championship. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-make-profit-tiago-ilori-12424521 dey deceive yaself. @bolded explained all. Did you read only attackers on my comment? I repeat, We all know clubs pay more for attacker and mildfielders. And we all know Ndidi, Success and Ademoola fall into those categories. EOD |

Some people no dey sabi see better player. I remembered I had heated arguments with many people here, Thegoodjoe been the ring leader, condemned Falcao. They said if Solanke was good enough, Chelsea should not had brought dead Falcao to Chelsea.. You see as he dey nak apako for Man City net. The same thing is just happening now, Tiago Ilori no good, alluded by some people. |

Icon4s: Oga, abeg, no vex for my late reply. bacause i no go fit handle two arguments should incase this one turns to another. Beside, I have been very busy. Well, I doing this just to squeez Joel Obi into the team. However, since both Joel Obi and Victor Moses are conversant with 3-5-2 formation, we can change formation if we are in search of a goal by removing the left back to accomodate Joel Obi. But we must try out the formation in a friendly before considering it in an important tournament. |

Concerning the 3-5-2, 3-4-3 formations. I'm with Sir Icon4s on this. Playing a 3 defenders, 2WBs in africa is risky. We don't have discipline players who can execute such tactics. Forget club football. National teams don't have enough time training, working out n perfecting things before matches-like what clubs have. These guys are mostly camped for a week and thats too small to teach dem d rudiments of such tactics. Countries mostly play such setups in tournaments n not qualifiers-an example is d dutch team under d tutelage of LVG. Apart from time n discipline factors, the intensity of african football is high. Even victor Moses who is arguably d best WB we have won't cope. Or may be u ppl are thinking he is going to pose the same performance we see him do every wk for Chelsea? I doubt t the Victor I know is not discipline enough in d green white green and to those suggesting Madu, Ndidi n so on for LWB na one eye i de use look una... We better stick to our conventional formation of 4 defenders and twist whatever we want to twist in the midfield n attack if we no wan chop goals. e go do us like comedy that day cos me no even know d players we wan use execute am is it d ones who can't even command a starting shirt in their respective clubs-NO PROBLEM in PMB's voice. (anyway, t will be an interesting match to watch). 1 Like |

Icon4s: Sone Aluko was a player who showed the usefulness of a creative playmaker in front of a tough wall. His role in the revitalization of Keshi's team was down to this. However, we never gave Aluko a chance to help the Super Eagles succeed. Even before the exploits of Aluko in the Championship, I repeatedly called for his inclusion in the team. Also keep in mind that winning the Championship player of the month is not easy. 1 Like |

tbaba1234: You will not believe I am missing the game. By the way, Monaco are in fine form, scoring lots of goals and sit on top of the Ligue 1 table. This is a Champions League game and we should expect tough encounters. |

tbaba1234: I doubt we should just write it down to confidence. Sometimes, we neglect to consider the amount of hard work players like this put on the training field to get back their form. Also, coaches have strategies and tactics that bring out the best in a player. There are players who flourish in a system and flop in another system. 1 Like |

Icon4s: First of all, I agree, wingers alternate positions during the course of a game, therefore, they should lump together as Winger. However, I don't rate Iwobi and Etebo as good wingers because I have seen Iwobi made no impact in that position with the National team and Arsenal while I have never seen Etebo played in that position. Though, I may likely consider Iwobi if we play 4-3-3 formation. Hence, My choice will revolve among the remaining players though you exempted some due to '?' hanging on their nationality. That one no mean say I agree with you ooooo on that issue. In a 4-2-3-1, my starting wing choice are Victor and Success. Success because the guy his good and my second choice will be Aluko and Ahmed. |

Icon4s: I don;t know why my mind is no longer with Ighalo after his move to China. I just want him out of the team. Instead, I will bring Obafemi Martins back into the team. Suprised!? I will never consider Iheancho in that 4-5-1 formation because he is best utilized as a second striker. In a 4-4-1-1 formation, Iheancho can be deployed behind the striker but as a point man, it is a no for me. i will prefer Aaron as my first choice, followed by Ideye. Martins Obafemi may come in. |

Icon4s: My number one choice is Iwobi, followed by Iheanacho(depending on the formation). Etebor is another good option on the S/S position. Ajagun needs to be invited to fight for a shirt and to also make him get familiar with the way the national team plays, should incase of injury, as we have always witnessed before any of our world cup. That Rabiu Ibrahim case just tire me. I don't know wetin dey do am. Maybe na wetin you take discribe am na em, e be. @bolded is spot on, just that I will remove Success and replace it with Joel Noel Bazee. Success is no longer the striker you use to know at the U17 level. e no sabi score well again. |

I pointed out How Aguero was brilliant in our last game against Huddersfield. Even though he did not score, he showed immense quality dropping deep to help the team. Just like what I expect from Nacho. The comment below is from the Bluemoon forum. Sergio is finished my fucking arse. MOTM, never stopped running, tracked back like a 'Pep' player and the second was shear class. Form is temporary, class is permanent. Aguero showed improvement despite Limited playing time. 1 Like |
