opeyeminas: I think your case shouldnt be a problem to tackle. where God saved you is the inclusion of your GCMS file in your app, just reply them that it was an error of omission stating that you even attached your GCMS note, so its an evidence you are not trying to cover anything. I think you should be good on this part. reply them asap and you can also include your refusal letter and the GCMS note in the mail. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Eraytee:Thanks so much for ur quick response to my post. The problem am facing now is my laptop containing my SOP crashed months ago and I don't have extra hard copy which means am left with only my Gcms to use as evidence. And is it that I will have to get a lawyer to reply them or I will reply on my own because have read something about getting a lawyer to reply for applicants in cases like this. Thanks |

Please I also got this kind of message in my mail this afternoon, in my case I never declared when I was submitting my application if I have been denied USA visa or not and I have actually been denied three times. It was negligence on my part. Now I have been given 15 days to reply the VO. Please I need everyone here to assist me in any way as I don't want to miss this great opportunity. Thanks |

opeyeminas: bro you dont need SOP and lawyer for now, your case is quite different. with your GCMS notes and previous refusal letters coupled with a well explainable mail would be okay for u. going for a lawyer is long thing on my part. you can actually do this yourself bro. all the best. be swift with your response to CIC. 2 Likes |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Nobody: 3:16pm On Feb 22, 2017 |
Eastcoast1:@opeyeminas and Eastcoast1... Please be clear that this is not negligence in any way you want to coin it!... Its assumed a deliberate misrepresentation of facts until proven otherwise It will usually not carry a lesser weight than stuffing application with forged documents .... In the case of @opeyeminas, you should put up a LoE and attach verifiable documents to support your claims. Eastcoast1 will draft a submission and build a case on error or omission... We have seasoned lawyers in the house who can advise further... You may choose to do this on your own or consult a lawyer to do a draft for you... but the final submission to CIC will be in your name and not a rep... [ |

Eraytee:. Also include that you do not have any intention to cover up any of the refusals as reference for your previous refusals were clearing indicated in the SOP you submitted in your application. That your not declaring it on your app form was an oversight on you part and you sincerely applogize for the mistake as you do not have any intention to conseal the refusals. Tell them that they can kindly refer to the document you submitted for the application as the SOP is included and therein is stated the refusal, that you were unable to attach a copy in you correspondence as your laptop crashed and you do not have a copy as you have submitted it. I wish you all the best and eventually success on this. You shall definitely come back to share good news on this. 2 Likes |

Good afternoon guys. Please I made a terrible mistake by not declaring if I have been denied USA visa or not when I was submitting my application. I have been denied USA visa three times. This afternoon I got a mail from CIC to explain why I have done that and I need to reply them in 15days. Please I need everyone to enlighten me on what to do. Thanks.

Hello All, Good afternoon. I have followed this thread since Part 1 and knew that soon, I'll be posting mine here too. So after applying to two schools in Canada (Algonquin College, Ottawa & Camosun College, Victoria BC), I finally got an Acceptance letter from Camosun College today to study Post-Degree Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resource Management & Leadership Option and this is where it begins. I have created a profile on CIC website and gotten the Checklist of documents to be submitted. Hopefully by monday next week, I should pay the Initial deposit for the school in order to receive the LOA. I'm super excited...Any Camosun Applicants here? Kindly indicate and contact me on +2348153130061 (Whatsapp) |

kokorita: The travel history doesnt really matter in Canadian Visa application. What matters is your financial capability and home-ties (What you have here in Nigeria that will bring you back). |

Jumybecks: Some program offer winter admission with funding. You don't have to wait till fall 2018. But you will have to do rigorous search for them. Good luck. |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Austinpee4: 3:40pm On Feb 22, 2017 |
tsolution:Bros/sister, this ur qualifications no be hia oo...you are representing major sectors of the ECONOMY! Lol. I salute you! But kindly note that you must also consider your visa chances while you try to apply for admission. Anywhere, With this qualification, your propose and intended study should be in the area you've had lots of activity and years of experience in and i can see you have years of experience in the financial sector and you have attained a higher degree in this field too. However, If your most recent activities has been in the educational sector with SIGNIFICANT achievements, success and evidences that your intended program will further add to these achievements and make your career goals attainable, you may stand a good chance with your intended program(if you can secure admission) So, if the cummulative 4 years experience has been RECENT in the education field, a master of Education isn't a bad idea if you can get in. If otherwise, you will have to go higher in the financial sector. The idea is that there is a progression in your present endeavor because it will be assumed that it is where you have found passion recently to add value both to yourself and the society. In what ever decision you reach, let it be either in the financial sector or the education sector. Your undergraduate degree won't matter anymore, you don't have any major and recent activity in that since you long left school. |

Folaroyal:@folaroyal though replying people isn't what I need now buh I want to make it clear I wasn't trying to coin my way. because if I was trying to play smart I won't include my Gcms and won't even explain it in my SOP, explained it in my SOP under my Study Gap. Thankfully have seen a copy of my SOP on my abandoned phone. Thanks |

Folaroyal:Make him just come attend to his customers and or perhaps give them best referral. Funny thing is that some quack agents will even encourage them too. Cos I don't think anyone with right senses and know the risk of not saying the truth to CIC, will want to try it. Some of us wey know small sef they ask and ask again cos we want to be set free. It will end with praises. 1 Like |

kokorita:You may not get all the useful information you need here as student visas are widely discussed here. Here is also a link to the nairaland canada visiting/tourist visa thread, you may find it most appropraite for you and your husband as you read and ask questions there. https://www.nairaland.com/2103860/canada-visit-tourist-visa-discussion |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Austinpee4: 5:52pm On Feb 22, 2017 |
DereI:You are correct that financial capabilities and hometies matters BUT for a visiting visa, travel history matter alot especially when applying to a world choicest destination. Your history of having travelled to other top countries and not overstayed a visa or commited a crime in those countries will add to a positive review of your application. This is also used in a student visa but not overly as in a visiting visa. It is not to say one doesn't stand a chance without one but having good travel history add more advantages to ANY visa application. |
