He was good.

Apart from his dribbling, his linkup play with David Silva were quality. He seems to more comfortable on the left side and has truly come into his own in the position. If I remembered correctly, he has looked good whenever he was deployed as a wingback on the left side than when he was used as a forward on the right. He seems to be one of those true wingers rather than a wing forward and depends a lot on his left foot.

Anyway, I think apart from his positional change, City looking good in the midfield also helped him too. I don't think he would have displaced Martial on the left if he had come here though.
