you made an error in your logic. 682 one was rightly placed(could be 6 or 2). 614 one is correct but wrongly placed(this statement cancels out 6 because it is still on same location, leaving 1&4), 206 we have just 2 and 0 to rearrange, no need of 738.
choosing the locations should be 042 because 0 had been placed at box 2&3 and they were not it's position, first condition stated that 2 was rightly placed then 4 was placed at box three but it was not it's position making me place it in box 2 unlike 1 which had already occupy there.

042 is the combo.
