jupitre:If she tells his wife, he won't be able to upgrade to the big boy status because his wife will naturally be on her guard. |

I'm loving this story like.....but come to think of it, no man in his right senses will act the way Otunba is acting. As for me o I want to believe it's not ordinary. How can a woman leave you with a 2Weeks old baby and you meet her years....later and fall for her again. What they are doing to Liz is bad and unfair after all she sacrificed. Those who don't know Ella will help her cry, plus her useless mother too. Nice story ma'am, More wisdom. 1 Like |

rachealfst: Racheal wa gbayi, o ti e ti gbayi jhoor......thump up Did you read my comment? It is not possible for Otunba to succumb just like that...there is more to this story, Otunba ti je efo There is supernatural power behind this ...may be it was added to powder Ella wore on the day of meeting Otunba It is not just her beauty that attracted him ...there is secret behind it Let's sit and enjoy this popcorn and wait for the next event 1 Like |

Adesina12, I beg to differ from your point up there. I seriously doubt Ella and her mum did more than natural to get Otunba back into their evil net. The holy Bible succinctly stated in James 1v14."every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed.. From the little we know of Otunba, he wants the goodies of life and above all, a career lady with a banging body as described by candy in the form of Ella. Ella knew Otunba well enough to tempt him with what he wanted most in life... My niqqa fell flat 2 Likes |

Adesina12: OTUBA is an ode of a man who allow his manhood to control his brain...juju no dey dis one |
Re: Almost Paradise by Adesina12: 10:05am On Feb 22, 2017 |
Skimpledawg: I agree with you that Otunba was manipulated by something Yes, something but that something could be physical or supernatural He could be tempted with her ketchup hole/body or money as we could see his reaction to holidaying abroad and others (physical and wordly thing) It could be supernatural when assumed he has lost his sense to demon acts...Afterall Otunba is not deaf or dumb, he was passing by pretty babes of the same calibre with Ella day in day out or worst run girls if at all he was pressed to bang the evil hole in Ella, why not someone else? rachealfst what is your opinion on this? |

stuff46:Typical of Nigerians... Wanting to eat the cake and go Scot free. I tell you bro, Otunba shot himself in the head by copulating again with Ella. I might not want to call it juju, but whenever a lady wants something from a man and she succeeds in sleeping with him,.... It's game over |

*************************************************************************** NINE “I love your body, body...” Paul hummed his non-melodious song as he drove Darasimi home. He pushed his Honda EOD to over a hundred on the expressway. Save for a few cars, the Ring Road express was deserted. The digital clock on his dashboard showed 10:20pm. Sometimes, he considered nightlife in Ibadan too dry for his liking. He is used to the fast life of Lagos. He cast a side glance at the beautiful damsel seated beside him. She was wearing a red t-shirt on a black jeggings, a lustrous pearl shocker graced her beautiful neck, he could still see the outlines of her beautiful curves even as she sat with her arms folded on her thigh. Irrestitible. He didn’t know how much more of the slow-dance courting business he could take. He wasn’t used to it and he was beginning to wonder if she was worth the challenge. ‘Damn,’ he swore under his breath as he mistakenly pushed the car to 110. “Take it easy, Paul.” Darasimi warned. He placed his right hand on her thigh, “I’m sorry angel, I’m under pressure to get you home fast.” In less than ten minutes, Paul had made it to Darasimi’s house. He swung his agile body out of the black EOD to open her door. I sure know how to please a woman, he was thinking as he locked the car and set the alarm. Even though he had no intention of entering the house with her, he knew it was too dangerous to be careless with the car by that time of the night, especially when the car is not his. The gate to the bungalow was already locked and he waited by the car and watched as Darasimi knocked on the gate. “Where are you coming from, Dara?” Her mum asked, fumbling with the padlock. Her phone hung in her mouth, while the torchlight shone directly on the padlock. The padlock finally snapped and she pushed the pedestrian gate open. “E kaa le ma.” She walked past her mother without answering her question about here whereabout. Mrs Jayeola turned to Paul, “ E ni a bii re kii rin ode oru.” Meaning ‘A good child doesn’t go out in the night.’ “Em---em---I was preparing her for---“ “Will you stop with your lame excuses, young man.” Mrs Jayeola cut him short. “Before she met you, my daughter never entered this house past 7pm." One of Paul’s rules-to-live-by is ‘never insult the alligator till you cross the river’. He applied it to all the girls he had bedded, and to any random situation, depending on where he finds himself. He bowed. “I’m sorry ma. O daa ro ma.” “How will you get home now, by this time of the night?” The ever compassionate, considerate Mrs Liz Jayeola asked as Paul opened the car door. He smiled and held the door of the car, “Don’t worry ma, I’ll be fine.” He said and drove into the night. *************************************************************************** 4 Likes 1 Share |

*************************************************************************** Sliding a chair close to her daughter, leaving her to retreat farther on her bed, Liz unholstered her softest smile. “Did you get enough sleep?” “Not much.” Darasimi answered curtly. “What’s on your mind? Anything you want to share with me?” She asked gently. “It’s me and you now, Tobi has gone to school.” “Nothing, thanks.” She said and faced the wall, her head on the small weekend box she bought for her on her 21st birthday. Liz looked at her for a moment. She knew she had to thread softly with her daughter. She was losing her to Paul. “I’m not upset because you have a boyfriend, I’m just worried about Paul taking advantage of you.” “I’m 22 years old!” She snapped. “Actually, you are 21; your 22nd birthday is still two weeks away” “That changes the fact that this is my 22nd year on earth?” She asked defiantly. Tears welled up in her eyes. First it was Otunba, now Darasimi. “Why are you people doing this to me? You and your dad?” “Oh, it’s about my father, isn’t it?” She blew her nose in the small face towel she held in her hand. “Darasimi, you are my daughter, we were best friends, confidants, before Paul came in to the picture. If you want me to stop complaining about him, I promise I will. Just come back to me, my daughter.” Darasimi could no longer take it. She burst into unrestrained tears as she watched the woman who raised her. Can it be true? Is this woman really not my mother? Is the rich Mrs Williams truly my mother? She asked herself. “Im sorry, ma.” Liz moved closer to her and held her. “It’s okay, my daughter.” They remained locked in a tight embrace for a few seconds. “I don’t have any lecture today, why don’t you go and shower so we can go to the shop together!” Liz felt elated. Darasimi has not stepped her shop for two weeks now. “Let me shower so we can go. I’ll be ready in ten minutes.” *********************** By the time she came back dressed, Darasimi was no longer in the room. The weekend bag was no longer on the bed. In its place, she found a small note that read: ‘I’m sorry I need to clear my head.’ *************************************************************************** 4 Likes 2 Shares |
