I only agree on 236 our educational system is very bad but Enugu is worse, I finished sec as one of the best student in Enugu only for me to come Lagos and become olodo Remembering the days of my sec, it was very fun but I now realized I only fooled myself 2 Likes 1 Share |

AlbusDumbledore: Nice one from the OP. NL and Nigeria needs more of these. We need such write ups and thoughtful insights highlighting the positive side of every ethnic group or religion. Not divisive tails based on stereotypes. We are first and foremost humans, united by our common ancestry (Adam and Eve), and common geographical boundary (Nigeria). It is high time we shun ethno-religious bigotry and embrace our oneness; we should aim to stay united in our diversity and we shall prosper as a nation. In so doing, the sky will not be our limit but rather our starting point, for we shall continue to soar higher and higher. P. S. I personally had a bad experience in Abia State camp wherein i was told in very clear terms i am from the boko-haram igbo-killing region of Nigeria and i was sent out of camp based on some semi-valid reasons fueled by ethno-religious sentiments. I had to re-mobilize, but i don't hold it against my brothers from the East. It was a singular act of some misinformed persons. I can't stereotype the igbos based on such experience. There are definitely good, empathetic, sincere, hardworking and down-to-earth folks amongst them and i would want to believe they are the majority. The other minority are statistically insignificant. 7 Likes |

Big-ups AlbusDumbledore, lovely post. Funny too. Others, please learn. Its great to see our young people promote other tribes in this country rather than jump the band-wagon of suspicion, bashing & trashing. It is refreshing to hear objectivity. There will always be a poor side to a person, tribe, country or even entire race... so why dwell on it? Look for the bright side of things first... I got a request. I happened to attend sec school at one of the largest there in the capital, and I'm currently conducting a survey on things like teacher quality for the school... I'd like more of your views, as a comparison, because as you say, its likely to be a problem across the state! |

Coal city ebe azia, got so much love for my people.. Nice write up OP, the average Nigerian is actually friendly, that's why I consider all these name calling on NL insignificant.. Once am done with medical practice in UK, na to open clinic retire for 042, the serenity and peaceful atmosphere of that city is unmatched in Nigeria.. 5 Likes |

Nigeria's problem is hypocrisy. a country where truth is crime. Until Biafra comes, Nigeria will know no peace. |
