Danhumprey: No other team in England had anywhere close to the resources that Manyoo has. How do you step into the shoes of a fallen giant? It's like you guys don't know how big Manyoo actually are sha. I'm just pleased that I witnessed their demise in my lifetime, and I pray that they don't do any nonsense lazarus trick there. |

Lets bet $200 and I will prove that Englishclubs joined the UCL in the late 50 and early 60s only that they werent good enough to win |

Lol So many inaccurate statements all over the place. Donjazet was wrong in his statement saying apart from 04-10 English teams had not dominated. The greatest era for English teams was not 04-10 it was actually 77-84 when they were rotating the European Cup title amongst themselves. And of course Ibime was wrong, there were English clubs in the European cup in the late 50s and early 60s. NO EUROPEAN CLUB , English or otherwise could have stopped the Real Madrid team of the 50s. |

Silence .. .. .. The only problem with a fat man trying to be silent is that you will still hear him snoring because fat has blocked his windpipe. Ibime I can still hear you snoring come out and defend your lies |

Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by Ibime(m): 3:29pm On Feb 25, 2017 |
raumdeuter: Definitely when I'm talking you know there are some facts behind it even though some hyperbole may be involved. European Cup was not taken seriously by the FA in the 1950s who discouraged English clubs from competing and that was also the prevailing attitude of English clubs. It was Man Utd that fought for England to start taking the tournament seriously and for the first few years, they were on their own in that regard.

Ibime: Is this the best you can come up with? When did EUropean cup start? How many editions did England miss? So whats the hyperbole whats the lie? |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by donjazet(m): 3:38pm On Feb 25, 2017 |
afrodoc2: I eventually corrected that notion but my primary point was that the English teams have never dominated Europe the way the Spaniards and Italians have. Whatever reason one might give this is highly debatable but it won't take away the fact that the Italians and Spaniards have always been much stronger than the English teams. |

Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by donjazet(m): 3:44pm On Feb 25, 2017 |
raumdeuter: You know for all your ejaculations over our expressions of the facts about English's inferiority in Europe. I don't see or hear anything about the Germans. They are almost irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. While one points to the tops leagues periods of dominance, I can't see or hear about German domination And the only worthwhile mention goes to Bayern. You have only 2 German champions of Europe. That's a shame nigga. 1 Like |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by afrodoc2: 3:46pm On Feb 25, 2017 |
donjazet: That is very debatable, it depends on what indices you want to use. Spain has 16 titles but just 2 winners, Italy 12 titles but just 3 winners while England has 12 titles from 5 different winners showing depth and variety. And in terms of dominant periods only England has ever dominated to the point of winning the European cup 6 years in a row. Spain went 5 years in a row and I believe the longest straight dominance by Italy was 3 years. |

Nihilist:I know how big Man United are....... but don't worry, I get your point. @bolded, you wanna bet? we're going to do some 'Lazarus' trick and return back to our dominant form of the past. |

afrodoc2: What of Burndisligdown. How many titles from how many winners? Why is Dayo always crying more than the bereaved? Dayo and Bundesliga are serial bridesmaids always arguing which bride is the most beautiful. KOWA party always putting mouth in APC and PDP business that doesn't concern them. |

Ibime: Kill obesity before obesity kills you. Every bit of integrity Ibime used to have is now being eroded by deliberate lies, half truth or just amnesia 1956/57 Manchester United represented England lost to Madrid in semi final 1957/58 Manchester United represented England and lost to AC Milan in the semi final 1958/59 Wolverhampton represented England and was knocked out by Schalke in the first round 1959/60 Wolverhampton represented England and were knocked out by Barca So ibime when was this your late 50s or tell us you are talking anout 1750? |

afrodoc2: I clearly stated earlier that I was using the final appearances as my yardstick and indices. Using only the winner doesn't fully cover the facts. It would be a flawed logic and analysis. Someone who got the final should be appraised and appreciated. |
