Two ways, one let the person register in one of the job banks, look through jobs that matches his profile or career and then apply. You can then print out the acknowledgement of the application and include it (you can do about six or seven) I think they just want to see the applicants seriousness and effort in researching about the province
Second is to write a letter of intent that shows why you chose Ontario over other provinces. This is easy as you just google the internet and find quick facts about the province and why it appeals to you in terms of weather, job opportunities, nice to raise a family, popular destination for migrants and so on.
Also note that the few rejections have seen is when people are not able to prove their work experience or NOC does not match reference letter. Your friend should be fine.

Thanks a lot! this is really helpful. Will do the job bank one asap and then get her to write the letter as you have advised.

I really appreciate your prompt response. Thanks again!

I suspect the system picks recently created profiles and what I did was to withdraw my old EE profile and created a new one. I encourage you to do that if you have up to 400 points and you selected Ontario as your destination. You can follow the steps I followed as follows:

1) Login to your EE account with CIC
2) Withdraw your old EE profile. Keep your existing GCKey account with CIC only withdraw the EE profile.
3) Login to your Job bank account and deactivate it. The system allows you to reactivate it anytime in the future keeping your profile info intact.
4) After deactivating your job bank account, go back to your CIC account and recreate a new EE profile on the same GCKey. Don't attempt to sign up an entirely new CIC account it will complicate things for you.
5) You will receive an email from CIC welcoming you to your new EE profile containing your new EE number and job bank code.
6) Now reactivate your job bank account by trying to login with your old login details. You will receive a code in your email which you will use to reactivate it. This is different from the job code you received from CIC. You will then create a new password and that's it.

All the best.

Thanks for showing others the way. I wish everyone will share info like this and not just a selected few on this platform.

For those still hoping on NOI for ontario, I think this is the exact tips for re-creating profile.

Hello house,

I'm new on nairaland. I must confess it's a very useful platform with wealth of information. Thanks to everyone here contributing & assisting others. Kudos to you all.

@damidamsel; Please can you share how you processed your US PCC. I'm in the process of doing same but I need clarification on whether I can complete the fingerprint form on my own & submit or I need to visit any law enforcement or US consulate to complete the finger print form.

Also, I will like to know if you just printed the form on an ordinary paper or you printed on a cardboard.

Then for the first application form, how did you complete the attention part, I left mine blank at the moment and in the mail to part, I put my name but my uncle's US address which is different from my own address that I imputed earlier. Please how did you do yours?

Have you also gotten any response from the FBI that what you submitted is fine for the purpose of getting the report.

Please just advise on the whole process.

Thank you.

Hi @Toy002, i actually had the same questions but the instruction on the FBI says the fingerprint can be done by ink or livescan (at any law enforcement agency). So i opted for doing the fingerprinting at Alagbon. However what i did was print 3 copies of the fingerprint card on a standard A4 and had my fingerprints taken on all 3 so that at least one will go through. I just sent mine to the States so i still await a feedback.

As per address, i filled my niaja address as applicant's home address but in the mail results to section, i filled my mum's name and address in the C/O but put my name in the 'Attention' part.

My MBA is awaiting IQAS evaluation. Msc certificates for my spouse's set (UNILAG) is not ready though she has applied for transcript in favour of IQAS.

@all: Does anyone have a reliable contact at Unilag?

Your spouse should request for an attestaion letter or statement of result and use instead. I used my msc attestation letter along with my transcripts and WES evaluated my degree to a Canadian equivalent. Best of luck

You can print the fingerprint form on a normal white paper and complete the fingerprinting on your own. Just make sure to include 3 or 4 copies in case some fingerprints are rejected.

Thank You.

I guess it was the slow internet afterall. I have moved to another location with better signal. grin

GrandCommander:

Since you have already Cleared your browser cache, restart the system and open the CIC page with a stable and fast connection. This is best done close to or at midnight. This should solve your problem.

Indeed, information is power!

Hello house, I dont know how to tag or reply under comments so I just go to the general reply space. For the OINP, I saw a requirement for their fswc for ielts to be a minimum 7 in LRWS. I am in the pool with over crs 400, i'm thinking not to proceed with the OINP if I get NOI as my ielts score, I had a 6.5 in reading and writing respectively. This is because I dont want to pay 1500 cad if I wont get the nomination certificate because I do not qualify for fsw in Ontario. Please I stand corrected. Maybe I didnt understand that section correctly. Their cut off is 67/100. Can someone send me a link to calculate please. Someone please put me through. Thank you

It means you must have CLB 7 in all your scores.CLB 7 for Ontario pnp is equivalent to scoring 6 in each of the IELTS test which I think you have. You can check the Ontario pnp website for more information.

I will advise you withdraw that profile and create a new one... You will definitely get an NOI if your score is above 400... What is your score though, you might just be in line for an ITA. Share...

@boldinc, thanks alot for being there. I withdrew my EE profile on the 22nd filled and submitted a new one same day and 23rd i got NOI from Ontario. You have been very helpful. Now i have 45days to make use of this opportunity. I think its worth the try since CRS is 435.

@boldinc @damidamsel, please pick one passport, either the Nigerian or US passport. You'll fill the chosen passport details under d column for your child. It will ask if d child has any other nationality and you can then fill d other nationality without having to input the second passport info. This is simpler as two passports does not indicate to the vo which one you intend to use. Also if you use the US passport, when it's time for ppr, you won't have to send it cos it's a visa exempt country.

@damidamsel as long as the reference letters were issued after you left those employers and they are in the ircc format, then you can use them. Fill your husband's education under d section for education and indicate that there is no Eva for it. Upload his certificate and ielts trf (if he does have one) under the education section.

I have seen a Lotta comments about multiple profiles and I feel I need to chip in. Please multiple profiles are not d way to go unless in extenuating circumstances. It's expected that before you create an EE profile you should have alreAdy researched what you need n proceed as appropriate. If you do need to create a new profile then, kindly withdraw d old one n go with the new.

@humanshadow thank you for the much needed info on how to withdraw a profile and then the whole oinp thingy. I'm sure it'll prove invAluable to other readers.

@ssemire, it'll be nice for you to share you 9 months journey. This is a DIY platform and it's not enough to just pop in n say oh, I got Bleep. Ppl wAnna know how you did it so as to learn form your experience.

Someone asked about AVO, fusion23 got his app processed by avo and ppr in about a month or two. It's always on a case by case basis.

Have a nice weekend y'all.

Hian!! What are you scared for? When the next draw is going to be low even! Just focus on ECA. I think till half of the year the scores will be low.

I already entered my EE reference number and job seeker validation code while applying for SINP. If I withdraw the profile now, it means the profile I used for Sask will be no more. Does this not have any implications? Or should I create another EE profile for ONTARIO without withdrawing the old one?

Please is there anyway to get around this? I have used my present EE reference number and jobseeker validation code in my SINP application. Now that I need to withdraw that profile and create a new one just to get NOI from Ontario, what is the implication for my SINP application. Pls I need a guide gurus.

Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by 40manlappy: 7:48pm On Feb 25, 2017
@bigheadday

If you don't have a valid job offer, simply answer "No".

Age may no longer be on your side.

To get a higher score, you may encourage your wife to write IELTS. Try to evaluate her educational qualifications too so that you can claim more points through her.

On the other hand, you may consider your wife as the principal applicant if younger and has more qualifications. Use the CRS Tool to determine who stands a better chance.
