He is actually the most sort after teen in Europe at the moment.
Feel free to Google him and read up what you can find. That you don't know him does not reduce his worth.
Not only that, City had a £36m pound bid rejected by Monaco last year. Wenger and Zizou are massive fans of the guy.

Mbappe might end up to be average but if they spend $40 M on him, they will play him. That kind of investment will be played.

The motive was not to run down Mbappe but to point out the ironic view of the statement of Mbappe being better than Iheanacho because he is getting playing time at Monaco.

My reply was simple. If he was at City, Mbappe will sit on the bench. It is crystal clear. You can make up things to suit your thoughts but the words are clear.

Has Mbappe done better than what Aguero did at his age?
Please make it clear to me why he will be benched at City. How did you arrive at this conclusion when you haven't watched him play. You're such a wonderful man

What was Aguero like at 17 please? I can't recall.

Go to YouTube and watch Aguero's independiente clips. You can easily see what he was like.

So what are you arguing? Iheanacho not playing is not because of lack of ability. Some of you are ready to run him down because he is not getting playing time but yet are ready to defend Martial who is not getting playing time. You are ready to argue that me saying Mbappe will not start at City means I am running down his talent.

Haba.
You want to turn this to Mbappe vs Kelechi debate. I won't be lured to that argument.

I responded to your post about Mbappe not making the Man city team. You're the one bringing Kelechi into this. Is Kelechi the only man city player?

We spent about that on Leroy Sane and he sat on the bench for a long time. PSG spent huge on Lucas Moura And Pastore but have no problem leaving them out of games.

I did not bring in Iheanacho. You must not comment if you are not following the discussion. The thread tended towards Mbappe being better than Iheanacho because Iheanacho was not a regular at City and I replied If Mbappe came to City, he will bench. My point has not changed. You just did not understand what you were arguing.

Why was he on the reserves at the WYC in 2005 if he was that good?
Meanwhile Mbappe is making headlines at just 17.
I guess most people here are being apprehensive about the lad because he's Camerounian.

Even at that, how were you so sure he is not better than Kelechi since you haven't watched him play?

Is it possible to make an objective analysis on two players and draw conclusions when you haven't watched them both play?

Argentina over the years have produced top quality hitmen. It has always been tough to play regularly for Argentina despite being brilliant. Ask Pastore.

Another team might carry a team of over thirty years old but the recent resurgence of the Super Eagles was down to us having a young team. We should look into the future and not the past.

We are not talking about ur club. This is the Super Eagles the senior national team of Nigeria. We have serious business to take care of we are not trying to plan for the future we want to win right now and go to Russia. We need the best players no sentiments. Just like u were against old Yaya and now he is saving ur butt.

The numbers on the internet are not real life. If u think Wenger will let Iwobi go for 25 million then good luck. Maybe if they were to only sell the part of him that plays on the wings but if we are talking Iwobi who can also play any midfield position then get ready to pass Sterling money. Don't forget he will always be British and they come at a premium.
Iwobi is worth max 30m(that's even being generous). No way on this planet is he going for 40-50m. He no longer has the "English premium" on his head since he chose to play for us.

It is you comparing him and Kelechi. I made my point crystal clear. You can not say a player is better than theother bbecause of playing time. I also made a clear statement that judge Iheanacho's development after he has a run of games. So this your jamb question is off tangent.

Iwobi has the English Premium because he is home grown.

We are planning for the future. That was one of the reasons we hired a coach who has a history of developing young players.

I was against Old Yaya because he was not controlling the midfield and not doing his defensive bits. He is an improved player since his return but he is no way in our future plans.

My jamb question is legit. I can't figure how you knew Kelechi was better when you haven't seen Mbappe play.
Am compelled to belive you may not even recognise Mbappe if you saw his picture as we speak.

I used Sarcasm to highlight my point.

Right now Mbappe is the hottest young player in the world, a bona-fide 18 year old making waves.

His price right now well in excess of 50million.

Comparatively to KC city can drop city like lead at any moment he has played 40 games whether for 10 minutes or 90 minutes and scored 12 as a striker it's simply not good enough. The standards at City are very high right now he isn't cutting it. KC is still potential yet to be fully realised.

Some people are getting too sentimental about KC and his situation at City.

Mbappe will not be benched at City that's my opinion too much money too much investment to be left on the bench. And then there is the small matter of outstanding young talent.

Pls how can you call him the hottest teen sensation in the world, with all the hype Gabriel Jesus didn't worth a 50m neymar did not worth 80m eithet, neither did pogba worth a 50m when he was 18

Martial was the most sought after teen in the World, commanded a huge fee when signed from Monaco and guess what, he sits regularly on the bench in Manchester United.

He was a super regular and Manchester Uniteds most consistent player last seaon. Mourinho didn't take to him because he wants his team to play in a certain way and Martial does not fit into his idea.
If mourinho was the manager who bought him, he would never sit him on the bench.

Because of the whole Mbappe noise, I took the trouble to watch a clip of him and I wonder what the noise is about. He is not as good as a Young Djibril Cisse, Anelka or Benzema. People should cool down with the Messi comparison.

What I am asking u is to not discriminate on people based on age. If a man is good enough who cares what it says on his birth certificate. Instead of embracing greatness we find ways to send them away. Buffon is still kicking and so are many other older stars out there. U can't win without the right experience. When u look at Germany, Spain and Italy the past 3 wc winners they all had older players on those teams.

I am not begging you. You are the one trying to pretend as if you knew the argument before jumping in. You did not. That is why you are spending time asking a lot of questions.

The talk had to do with Iheanacho slowing down under City and Mbappe growing. I said someone can not say Mbappe is better and Iheanacho is deteriorating. After Iheanacho gets a run of games, judge him.
