How do i activate my windows 8.1 pro i tried doing it online but no way..any ideas

Now I understand what happened. The guy who installed the OS activated it for you. You were getting windows notification to upgrade and at sometime you clicked it thinking it was harmless.
During the process, Microsoft detected your crack OS and bursted it. Now your windows has been inactivated and won't let you do anything.
Now, what you have to do is back up your files, reload and activate your OS again

if you havnt done it before , its no use teaching you here. Get a professional to help you with it. As for upgrading to windows 10, it depends on the system specs because not all system can rum windows 10 smoothly without lagging in performance

1. Dell Inspiron 13 7000 series (the one with 360 turning)
Problem: when I switch it on, it tends to boot to desktop and hang. It shows Windows logo but fails to boot to desktop. It is Windows 8.1 that is on it. But it works normally on Safe Mode. I have used another Hard Disk ( though not new one) but is still the same thing

What will I do?

2. Dell Inspiron 3520 problem: this one only shows Dell logo but doesn't boot and I have no access to BIOS settings neither do I have to Boot Menu.

Please, what will do?
