It will be great as a secondary phone. The battery life is insane and great they used the old Nokia OS.

Unfortunately it won't. This has colored display unlike the monochrome display of the original. There's a camera, Bluetooth, touchscreen and this runs symbian is vs Java of the original. These added functions add a toll to the battery. But u should expect around 2 days battery life anyway since it doesn't run Android so no heavy apps.

Sorry for late reply, The new 3310 is set to cost €49 (£41) when it is released in the second quarter of the year.

At bolded, Nokia's s30 platform isn't symbian, and it doesn't even support .jar apps.

The original 3310 isn't java either. OEMs had their own OS for phones in the past. That kind of OS that doesn't allow you to download third-party apps.

On topic, the specs of the phone is terrible so if it costs more than 10k it's a no no for me..
