Am I the only one feeling a bit apprehensive about studing in the US at the moment? The spate of xenophobia engendered by Donald Trump rhetoric is becoming bothersome.

I am really considering my option, especially as a Muslim.

Your feelings are very normal and necessary. In as much as schooling in the US is of ultmost importance, there are equally other places where quality and top notch education is obtainable-Canada, England, Scotland, Australia e.t.c.
Any student wanting to study in USA should have considered the risk factors-racisim & security.
At the end, some of us might be writing the GRE as a result of predilections we already had for US schools and because others are taking the test. for instance, a guy a meet had a score of 330, AWA 4.5 but declined going for masters just because he wasn't sure studying abroad. He only wrote the exam since He saw his friends doing so.

it's so disappointing and quite absurd nd ridiculous that in a country as civilised as america we still talk of "hate crime or racial crime". This is disheartening.
