I just wanted to be sure this isn't happening only in abeokuta. Phcn has not taken our light since Friday evening. I'm seriously taking it as bad sign cos when the light is finally taken we might not see it for the next 1month.
Call it poverty or being used to generator utilisation most of the time. But the country has been so bad for a while and I've been so used to the bad side of everything.

I've not seen unshaken electricity for 3whole days since I was born.

And please don't say this government is working.. they wrecked the nation to this present state...they don't need any applaud for 3days uninterrupted power.

If you are uncomfortable with this development, just get a phcn officer to climb your pole and disconnect you.
On a serious note, this may signify that PHCN staff are preparing to share your electricity bill any time from now.

I used to think that too, but the entire estate uses a prepaid meter. We don't get visits from PHCN for disconnection as a result of late bill payment

If you are living near the transformer, pack out while it is not too late. The NEPA person in charge is obviously not on duty and that transformer will overwork and explode very soon

Where exactly are you having this uninterrupted power supply issue so I can send some PHCN staff to come fix it for you so you can enjoy some power failure like ever other Nigerian

Are u beign sarcastic right now cos last month PHCN was around for inspection in some houses with tenants. The occupants of those houses told us they came to check if any part of their connections have been by passed into the main source of power coming from the poles.

plz don't rejoice cause the problem might be from transmission or generation plant just report quickly before thing explode ,people get shocked and die because we are not use to light

If we have something like that in my area, we are done for. No prepaid metre, at the end of the month, your bill a will look like total winning of an accumulator betting slip.

Generally i think power is improving in some areas. There no cause for alarm, enjoy the light while it lasts

OP, you better prepare yourself for 6 figure NEPA bill this month. Those distribution companies don set una up this month end

the phcn officials are on top of the matter this abnormality will be resolved soon.
