Concerning the Greenback, this link below shows what I consider the only real and unmanageable threat to the appreciation of the Naira especially in the mid to long term. With Osinbajo at the helm, I think The Niger Delta issue is quite manageable. https://www.bloomberg.com/gadfly/articles/2017-02-26/with-shale-oil-production-like-this-who-needs-trump?cmpid=socialflow-facebook-business&utm_content=business&utm_campaign=socialflow-organic&utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social Lets watch and see anyway. 1 Like |

rebekah2011: Stocks with disappointing results might not suffer much (at least in the short term). The market is in a wait-and-see state (my opinion). The winners this bearish period will be companies giving out bonus scripts as witnessed in NB ( optional bonus though). This way value is conserved compared to dividends that is difficult to repatriate. Any company that shows a sign of recovery, especially in the first quarter is going to outperform the market. Imagine FBNH reporting a recovery of bad loans to Aiteo and Atlantic Energy. Aiteo is doable judging from the production recovery witnessed since the beginning of the year. I dey inside this bus so my judgement fit dey clouded o |

Coolcash1: Sir, you have said it all. I don't understand this early jubilation about forex policy (market). CBN still had close to $6Billions backlog bills to settle. And yet some people still believe in this clueless CBN official. For your information, the oil marketers are flexing muscle and preparing to embark on nationwide strike soon due to their inability to settle their debt in $$$$$. We should all continue to pray for Nigeria since the rain will fall on everyone. |
