Next time if you're not quoted and if you don't know the right response to a post, just move along instead of quoting rashly and irrationally.
Thanks.

Apologies.

Concerning the Greenback, this link below shows what I consider the only real and unmanageable threat to the appreciation of the Naira especially in the mid to long term. With Osinbajo at the helm, I think The Niger Delta issue is quite manageable.

Lets watch and see anyway.

Someone who's already speculating that the price may further drop on Friday is advertising that he bought at a high price on Tuesday, that's the part i don't understand. Why not wait till Friday, when he's sure the price will drop further, to buy?
Bought the dollar because of my daughter's school fees abroad, not for hoarding or speculative purpose.

Wow! You shunned the offer of N375/$ offered by the CBN? When you're big, you're big.

Stocks with disappointing results might not suffer much (at least in the short term). The market is in a wait-and-see state (my opinion).
The winners this bearish period will be companies giving out bonus scripts as witnessed in NB ( optional bonus though). This way value is conserved compared to dividends that is difficult to repatriate.
Any company that shows a sign of recovery, especially in the first quarter is going to outperform the market. Imagine FBNH reporting a recovery of bad loans to Aiteo and Atlantic Energy. Aiteo is doable judging from the production recovery witnessed since the beginning of the year.

I dey inside this bus so my judgement fit dey clouded o

They should all release their results on-time.

This delay is creating unnecessary apprehension in the Market.

Take it easy guys. This shouldn't result in an insult.

@duni04, to answer your question, the other guy is only speculating based on some reasons best known to him. He bought at >450 because he's taking a bet that based on information available to him dollar will rise above the price soon making the earlier speculated N300 band unfeasible.

To me, i will advise you still hold your cash as our clueless CBN governor is still flexing muscle by pumping dollar into the FX market to placade innocent and unlearned financial people that stability as returned- which is far from the truth...The point is, this intervention won't last and when you see that the CBN's funding limit has been reached or closed to being reached then, mopping of the greenback should start... grin

Hope this explains it better. wink

Sir, you have said it all. I don't understand this early jubilation about forex policy (market). CBN still had close to $6Billions backlog bills to settle. And yet some people still believe in this clueless CBN official. For your information, the oil marketers are flexing muscle and preparing to embark on nationwide strike soon due to their inability to settle their debt in $$$$$. We should all continue to pray for Nigeria since the rain will fall on everyone.
