Good day house I, my wife, and 2 kids are planning a trip to UK in April Please i need a little guidance, While filling the UKBA form online, i found some sections confusing. Under Employment section 1. " How much do you earn each month after tax " and Under Income & Expenditure section 2. " Total amount of money that you get a year " Now to question Nr. 1 My payslips shows only my basic salary of N200,000/month which exclude all my allowances which totals well over N6.5m, do i state the amount on my payslip (N200k/month) or should i add all my allowance a year and divide by 12months (N800K/Month)? Question 2. I also engage in Professional practise with my Engineering licences - COREN (Private Practise) and earn a lot of money from it. Do i state only my income from my Paid job or should i total including funds i earn from private practise? Question 3: Do i have to get a reservation for accommodation? Please justwise worry357 et all kindly help PS: I and my family (Wife and children) had been to the UK in 2015 on a 6 months visa |

@ Justwise, I am about to apply for a UK visa. I did apply last year and was given 6 months. Although I did stay beyond the time frame for which i said i will be in the Uk during my application, do u think this might be an issue in my next visa application. Thanks for your response |

Hello I was recently refused german visitor visa, although i am a student in germany and i have german residence permit that extends till june 2018. This are the reason stated for the refusal 1. You have applied for a visa to visit the Uk for 6 days 2. You state that you are a student. The document that you presented from your university show that your were enrolled on a course between 1.10.2016 and 31.3.2017 and there is no evidence of your ongoing studies beyond this date 3.As evidence of funds . you presented your bank acc with 3900 as at 13.2.2017 and there is no evidence of the origin of this large deposit In the light of the above i am not satisfied that you are seeking entry as a geniune visitor fora purpose permitted ot that you intend to leave UK on completion of your visit. I am not satisfied that there are sufficient fund to adequately cover the cost of your visit and maintain and accomodate you for the duration of your visit or meet the cost of your onward or return journey V4.2 (A, C. E) As i intend to reapply immediately because i now have a proof from my school that my studies extend till the end of the year, and my last 6 month payslip that showed i earned more than 4000 euros(which serves as origin of my income) and a new job contract that extends for 6 months. All these were not in my previous application. Waht are my chances? |

blza: We have discussed this far too many times here. 1.Is your business registered? 2. Do you pay income tax? 3. Do you have business account and savings or current account? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 4:27pm On Feb 28, 2017 |
abbij: They will ask you random questions about your trip and information on your form, difficult to tell you exactly the sort of question. Yes good travel history helps |

justwise: @Justwise, I didn't overstay my visa. I was given a six month Visa and stayed for 5 months. While I was applying I indicated I will visiting for 3 weeks. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 8:27pm On Feb 28, 2017 |
Iziy: Technically you overstayed. You indicated that you are traveling for 3weeks and presented a budget of 3weeks so you need to explain what you were doing for 4months in the U.K and how you survived |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Iziy: 9:07pm On Feb 28, 2017 |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Iziy: 9:26pm On Feb 28, 2017 |
worry357: @Justice, Yes, I was on a Tier4 in 2014 and that expired in september 2015. I returned to Nigeria and Travelled on a Visiting Visa in June 2016 of which I was given a 6 month visa. I returned in December 2016 |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by worry357: 9:31pm On Feb 28, 2017 |
Iziy: Ok clear now. I think that applying for three weeks and staying for five months is going to take a lot of explaining! |
