Why Do Nigerians Bow Before White Skin by superfly365: 8:26am On Mar 03, 2017 |
The Nigerian government established a branch of the Ministry of Defence here in turkey. As I heard the news, I went to make enquiries. They told me they were hiring and I should bring my CV and my cover letter. I graduated from Nottingham University UK and after that I obtained a masters degree at the New York University. It is important to note that I also have extensive work experience in the Uk, America and Turkey which is clearly listed on my CV. Anyways moving on, I took my CV to them and they told me they have a position for me and I should keep calling them. A week after that I received a call for them to come for an interview. I was excited and I called my family. On the day of the interview they told me the only job they have for Nigerians is cleaner!!! CLEANER!!! and that Nigerians are not as intelligent as Turkish people. They hired 22 Turkish people right infront of me, most of them don't even have University degrees. Most of them are also rude and racists to Nigerians. Right now the Nigerian government has an embassy, A visa office, A D8 and a Defence office here in turkey. They have hired 78 Turkish people and refused to hire a single Nigerian. Regardless of the fact that many Nigerians speak Turkish and are seriously searching for a job. Why do we hire oyinbo over our own people when they will never do the same for us? |

CplusJason: It's actually sad because there are so many Nigerians out there looking opportunities but they'll rather hire a white man (their master) |

I think it is unreasonable to expect preferential treatment in someone else's house (country), it doesn't matter who knows you or who you know there. |

iPrevail: First of all, I clearly stated that it was the Nigerian ministry of Defence hiring and second of all, I and other Nigerians that I applied where way more qualified than the Turkish people they hired. I went to some of the best universities in the world and I have worked for top firms in the UK and America. A Turkish man would rather hire a Turkish person even if they are not as qualified. Turkish people don't even hire foreigners in turkey Why can't we do the same? |

This not my experience of the Nigerian Embassy in the UK, all the employees I encountered when applying for a new passport in the UK were black, presumably Nigerians. What you told us may be true only in certain countries like Turkey, it may be due to stupidity of individual Nigeria Ambassadors at that time. When did this occur? Do you know whether the Nigerian embassy in Turkey still has such a policy? Wait oh, you were talking about Nigerian Ministry of Defence office in Turkey!, well it may be down to the Minister of Defence whenever your experience occurred. I have noticed similar stupidity in Arik in UK, when in Heathrow Airport in UK, notice most Arik staff were not even black. We have many Nigerians in UK struggling to find decent employment. I also noticed every other Airline appeared to employ almost exclusively their own. These matters are what our NAss should be legislating on, instead of useless laws they keep creating and amending. superfly365:_______________________ We are DANites members of DAN - Detribalised Association of Nigeria : DANites are duty bound to a)make post to challenge tribal bigotry, b) make post to challenge agitation to breakup Nigeria, c) like and share posts of other DANite and others from detribalised Nigerians . d)added to the list Danites any person you find to be detribalised. e) follow all listed Danites illuminated93, Addy003, 9japrof, EmeeNaka, Ikhilor, GQman, neocortex, TheHistorian, Shaytun, sirjerry, WORDWORLD, amanda2013, wetinconsignme, freshest4live, ameri9ja, Okoroawusa, onward4life, Almaheed, genbuhari, thoth, Axeman2, lonelydora, rusher14, LoveMachine, ugosample, darkckUSA |
