A friend wants to go stay with his friends people, they both graduated in the same university and now the friend has gone to join his parents in UK.... is there anyway possible that the other friend can go visit them, (as in like going there to stay with them) cos his friend promised him to speak with his parent to assist him when ever he's ready to come to UK is there any means of getting a Visa, if yes, what's needed |

Kindly assist ,what can I do The decision You have submitted bank statement for ***bank .these shows your salary going in and a balance of *** . This balance is disproportionate to ur stated income once financial commitment have been deducted and it is not clear how you have managed to save over 3 times the opening balance in the reporting period . The bolded part especially is getting me all confused |

Hi Justwise, Just want to take time out and say a big thank you for the good job you have been doing here. I went through this thread and was able to use all the info gathered to successfully apply for a visa for my wife and she was granted 2 years multiple. Application was submitted on 1st of February, got a mail from UKV1 that decision has been made on the 20th (But visa has a start date of 15th February though), got another email that it was ready for collection on the 21st. Once again, thank you for your time and I wish everyone success. 2 Likes |

missoredipe: Evidence of employment, salary account, 6 months payslips, leave letter and other investment you may have. Your friend has to send proof of accommodation, invitation letter, data page of his passport, his bank statement and payslips |

justwise: Thanks a lot, I hope it does not really mean as I am reapplying immediately? furthermore in my previous application I did not state that I am employed and I intend to include that now, I hope that won't have negative influence? 1 Like |

Good day justwise, worry357 et all Thanks for the prompt response. Please I'm applying for myself, wife and 2 children. Do I need to fill a separate form for each of them coz I don't have up to 4 different email addresses to register. What do I fill for the kids and even my wife when it comes to the sections that have to do with finances coz I'm the sole sponsor of the entire trip? Please why am I to pay extra $ 79 if I choose to do my Biometrics in Ikeja I'm a little lost. |

TO THE GLORY OF GOD Hi justwise I want to thank justwise and other gurus in the house, I have been able to use the advise from this trend to repackage my application as I was refused last year September. I submitted my application on the 6th of February. I got a mail on the 7th that my application has been received. On the 15th I got a mail stating that may application was not straight-forward that it will take longer than the normal period to process On the 24th I got a mail that a decision has been taken on my application and later that day I got a mail that it was ready for collection. . TO THE GLORY OF GOD, i picked up my passport with my 6 months visa on the 27th of February Thanks all 2 Likes |

missoredipe: Not having other investments is not really an issue. Working on a UK aid project is a job and not bad one in that matter. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 6:39am On Mar 02, 2017 |
emeprorgaozu: You can reapply as soon as you can because in your case you are presenting new evidence to address previous refusal |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 6:55am On Mar 02, 2017 |
nonoski: I think you have to fill separate form for them because I don't think you can link them(others can correct this if I'm wrong) Since you are the sponsor the financial details will be on your form while you use the additional information space to explain that it's a family trip and that you are paying for all. Put n/a in financial section for kids. If your wife works fill in her financial details again use the additional information space to state that you will be taking care of everything. Yes I think you have to pay to use ikeja |

I am married with a full time job but NGN 99,000 is my take home salary but i still earn personal money from event management and cake making, i have a registered company but no company account all money from my side businesses comes into my saving accounts either my salary account or other accounts. I have plots of lands and a car in my name. With my salary do i have chance of getting the UK visa though i have all other proof of work documents included Tax to back it up 2. Is it wise to use any of my friends or relative address of where i will stay or should i use a hotel address 3. Like how much can i quote that i will be spending for my trip from my pocket as Oga will handle the ticket part and i have free accommodation 4. Do i need to provide Oga's statement of account? 5. tmoneyluvsu: cut down your budget size to like 400k at least you can still get flight ticket for 250k then some other small expenses of 150k is reasonable if you are a true visitor.and if you claim a relative will accommodate you, why the big budget of 800k, its implicating. |

Sorry justwise and other gurus as this is going to be a long read So yesterday I was refused a UK Visa (first time applicant) and reasons give as below: [b]I have refused your application for a vist visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2 of Appendix V: Immigration Rules for Visitors because: While I do not intend to re-apply anytime soon because I can’t be spending money anyhow on visa applications but I will like some professional advise on the above reasons for refusal. My Questions 1. My UBA account is the salary Account with Closing Balance of about 6M and continuous inflow and outflow of over 30M for the six month period. However my company pays salary twice, 50% to the bank at month end and 50% by cash every half month. So the salary inflow from my company is just half of the N175,000 which I have stated above. And I did attach a letter to explain this. So I’m wondering If the VO don’t consider LOE?. Secondly, I did not attach a payslip to my application, as my company don’t give same, except you have to keep disturbing the account guys. But I attached my Employment letter which states my annual income, Leave letter from the office and also a recent letter of salary review. 2. In additional to the UBA account, I attached a Dollar account of about 4k USD, and two confirmations of fix deposit from my Banks, with amount in Millions. So, I’m wondering if the VO is suspicious that I showed too much money for a salary of N175k per month?. Please note that I did state in my application that I get additional income of about N70K commission from the office, avg. N200k monthly interest from my fixed account investment, about 300K from property rent. All these were also explained in the LOE. Any professional advise will be helpful for future applications. |

Please I would like to know the difference between applying for Visa at Ikeja and applying for visa in VI coz I noticed that there is an extra $79 when you choose Ikeja as the location for Biometrics. Some one kindly explain. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Solatium(m): 5:36pm On Mar 03, 2017 |
koolkamzzy: You killed your application yourself, you earn #175k a month after tax and you have presented an account balance of close to #10million or over and you expect such an application to fly? Sincerely I don't know who can turn this in your favor, probably you wait for some time before making another application, you can as well go to other places in between the wait |

showerses: 1. With 99000 salary no but with additional income backed up with paper evidence it may increase your chances 2.If you are going to stay with one of them or see them yes you have to include their address and details. 3. Your budget for the trip will answer that question 4. Yes and his source of income 5. Again your budget for the trip will help answer that question May or June. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 5:57pm On Mar 03, 2017 |
koolkamzzy: Your financial details does not add up, if your salary is N175K a month in a year you will be earning about 2.1 millions. So for you to have 6M in your salary account it means you have worked for 3yrs and saved all your income. You did not explain the source of $4K £ss in your account that was why you were refused. |
