The Cavs roster is really-really good if everybody stays motivated,I had my doubt but the cavs GM came through. Let just hope Lue can mange the roster proper.

And healthy, Bro! We can't afford to lose LeBron/Kyrie to injury right now.

Durant out or not, no team should be able to compete with the Cavs in a 7 game series if fits.
Warriors should be worried. It's now hard for other stars to lay their hand on a ring for two years at least. Looking at the Cavs roaster, I see no way they lose a playoff series to any team right now.

You get no prize for when you became a fan afterall, you became one in one day. Someone at the time could have accused you of being a bandwagoner.

What should matter is that you are not a fair-weather fan. The type that bails out when your team loses only to show up when they win. The type that likes just a player in the team and will drop that team if that player leaves.

I don't know the type of fan you are sha, but I guess time will expose you if you are a dud. grin I mean especially if Cabs don't win a ring this year.

What of the Spurs? I fear that team pass the KD-led GSW. You know why? They have an experienced coach, defensive minded players and a consistent bench.

Although I agree with you that the Cavs are the team to beat, I don't expect it to be a walk in the park.
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 12:20am On Mar 04, 2017
The more important aspect of the back to back loss is being overlooked again. Everyone is pointing to the Warriors offense, but no one is speaking of the Warriors defense, and Steve Kerr's ineptitude at making adjustments. Also, the losses have suddenly exposed the Warriors bench as shallow, in comparison to last season, and other contenders for the title especially in the west.

Players slump, shots fail to drop, however, just like last season's finals choke job, they were bullied under the paint, could not guard the pick and roll, and S. Curry was bullied at the top of the key, it was like 'Deja vu" again.

When offense is blunt, the defense shoulders the team across the finish line.

I beg to differ. The defense was elite yesterday. It was the offense that collapsed because the 3s not falling helped Bulls to protect the paint better and get some crucial blocks. There were a lot of clean looks for the 3 that the number of clings on the rim made some fans to wonder if some teams rig their rims against GSW.

Perhaps what you are referring to is the 3rd quarter collapse defensively but even that was not key because Kerr made good adjustments and forced 8 defensive stops in the 4th quarter which unfortunately were not translated into buckets on the other end. 4 mins to go and Bulls had only 7 points to show for the 4th quarter. That was how good the defense was.

As per the bench, you have a point but it boils down to poor utilization from Kerr. I thought he could have played one of the centers to get screens and perhaps feed off alley hoops to force the offense but Kerr stuck to what he was comfy with.

The team is just adjusting to the loss of their primary scorer. I'd be worried if this run continues but I won't pretend the signs were not showing even before KD got injured. What needs to be changed is the stoopid foul calls against Curry that don't get called when others mark him the same way. That is what has continued from the finals of last year into the regular season of this one.

Happy for you only that I can't verify it as I just have your word to work with. Don't worry; your loyalty will be questioned this time around. Hope you won't be busy then. A lot of "cav fans" get busy when things are not going well.

Cavs tend to shoot well against them. Didn't they set a record in the playoffs against the same ATL team?

In other news, I can live with Kyrie scoring 43pints. But getting 9 assists while at it? scary stuff. Surprised Cavs still won by just 5. Went to bed when they led by 17 end of first half.

I think it's OK with LeBron being the facilitator most of the times.. They work best this way..

the east conf teams are weak compared to the west,if the cavs were in the west conf they would never have made it to the nba finals.

What if it was Bulls defense working and their offense wasn't working?

And if you say Bulls won cos of the better offense, then Warriors have the worse defense

LOL. Smh

Bulls had the better defense and offense in the 3rd quarter and that is where the damage was done.

lakers had kobe, shaq, gary payton and karl malone and still lost to the pistons. its a team game..dwill and bogut are too old to have major impact at this stage of their career. D will is a stronger more defensive minded PG than kyrie so he definitely helps. Bogut just might workout too...cavs love big bodies

Deep down y'all are praying to ur gods that LeBron doesn't pick up an injury coz y'all know that the Cavs are an injury to LeBron from being a very mediocre team.
Besides, the playoffs is an entirely different ball game. No one goes to the playoffs to get James' autograph.

Cavs are not in a crisis? If this were GSW now ESPN would have many articles talking about how GSW may not even make the playoffs again (like that was even possible).

I guess Kobe Deron Will and Shaq Bogut, did not play yesterday.
Re: The NBA Begins by lolawilliams(f): 10:23am On Mar 05, 2017
Great game from the Heats but a rematch on monday with a complete Cavs team(no Klove) would be better. Most teams arent that good with their best players not playing, let alone 4 starters and 3 of which are all stars.

Them hilarious twitter fingers can type shiit grin
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 12:12pm On Mar 05, 2017
"My bench is so deep. I have the best squad. If healthy no one can stop us".

*Bench gets thumped by an average Heats team that just got hammered by an awful Orlando team*

"When we play again with a full squad on Monday bla bla bla"

*All of a sudden rematches in regular season games are important*

GSW 108 CAVS 109.

"Choke artists. We are better than them"

*rematch GSW 126 CAVS 91*

"Doesn't matter. It was just a regular season game. JR Smith didn't play. 3-1"

Some jokes write themselves.
