Please house, how do i kick start the process as i know next to nothing about the procedure? How long can the whole process take...from start to PR/PPR they call it?
And again who should be the principal applicant between myself and my wife- i have just first degree while she's got masters; i have done WES evaluation, although for academic purpose, while she hasn't; am in a paid employment for over 4years while she is self-employed; we are both yet to do IELTS and over 30yrs of age.

First thing to do is to submit your credentials for evaluation to either WES or IQAS. Get your official transcript (directly from the issuing body; your alma-mata) sent to either WES or IQAS (a form will be sent to your e-mail from either of assessing body yiu use. How long can the whole process take

It all depends. Nobody can give you a particular time as to when you will get PR.
But if all documents for EE are ready; ECA, ielts, you can create your EE profile and if you meet the cut-off point for the next draw after submitting EOI, you should get ITA. And after ITA, you have maximum of 90days (from the day you recieved ITA) to submit your PR application and every supporting documents. After that, you will have to wait PATIENTLY while keep PRAYING. The waiting can take from three months to six months or more.

According to the quoted, you should be the principal applicant as you can claim work experience from your place of work (provided your present work will match any on the NOC list)

Please what documents does one need to submit the Ontario application? Are they exactly the same documents for CIC?
Also, I can see conflicting views on 45 and 14 days timeline for application.

Ontario is a possibility. I will advise you withdraw your profile and create a new one... OINP NOI should come thru shortly after... Wait it out while your ECAs come thru, cos should get ITA with that. In the process, put all your OINP docs together and wait till the last day of expiry...

Praying your ECA comes thru before the next draw... Amen!

A MasterCard debit card denominated in foreign currency should work.

Please house, am I supposed to show just a letter from my previous employer or does include payslip? I'm not currently employed but have previous experience.

congrats to the ITA collectors, seriously hoping for mine. @dupsyshoo,@boldinc @vcole and everybody, I got a mail from IELTS saying they have remarked and increased my band score last week friday but I cant pick my TRF till tomorrow, am soo pained. They didn't even indicate what they scored me and I have no idea how to check so I have to wait. Imagine if they told me what I scored I for just update my mark and reach 472 from 415, I for just collect ITA too yesterday, but God dey sha, I gallantly wait for my ITA in next draw by God's grace. keep the fire burning guys, and you all are doing great with all the wealth of information on here.

Well I use my Dollar Mastercard for everything I pay for, including WES. I think the difference is we in naija are not used to the whole credit card thingy (oyibo like borrow borrow life wella), we use debit cards more cos we spend our own money
But they are used the same for payments.

Best advice is for you to submit your electronic application, then get married afterwards. by doing this, your spouse will only need to do medicals and police report. You will have to report your marriage to CIC immediately with your marriage certificate. You both will get your PRs. The only major thing that must change is that your POF must be updated to the CAD rate for family of two and updated bank statements must be sent to CIC.

Exactly, is it the soft copy from the one sent via post or the soft copy sent via e-mail. Pls clarify cos i intend sending a message to WES to send thru courier. A friend used standard post and never received his original report.

My case is similar. I'm still expecting ITA at 428 and a new family member around may whom I plan to include in my application. At what point do u suggest I add the child to my application.

Hi, your question is not very clear. You need reference letters from your previous employers for work experience you claimed points for. A letter in the specified cic format is sufficient but if you have payslips from your previous employment, add them to your application too.

-Does it matter if the email used to create Job Bank is different from the one on the Express Entry profile?

-Job Bank registration status on the EE profile still shows "Pending" even though profile was created yesterday and it is indicating today as the "Effective Date" of the profile. Any ideas for resolution?

1. I expect someone trying to apply for express entry based on NOC2221 to have a science degree, think about it, the only reason people nominating NOC3112 must be certified doctors is the same logic that applies here. Ofcourse, you should have a degree that authorizes you to work in specific positions, especially medical fields which i have stated earlier.

2. When nominating NOC, your degree doesn't matter, only your work experience do. That's the reason you must submit a Letter from your Boss stating you did all the jobs listed in the NOC job experience requirements.

Ladies, please what did you use as your LEGAL NAME CHANGE DOCUMENT?

Court Document/Affidavit of change of name, Marriage certificate and Newspaper change of name. The marriage certificate and the newspaper publication are usually attached to the court document when you change your name in court. So just submit the three papers like that combined as one document.
