Guys pls btw the Redmi note 4x & Redmi note 4 SD which one supports Etisalat ND Airtel 4G network.

If the miui version you stated is what you actually have, then it's not official rom and may be the reason for your battery drain, please upload a screenshot.
been browsing on edge let's say from 11:14am to 11:32am. It dropped from 29% to 23%

I didn't reset the device when I bought it, should I also update to the 8.1.3? What's the way forward? This drain is killing

If you have stable, fast connection, you can update it directly as long as the update app shows there is an update. But alternatively, download the the full rom, rename it to update.zip, put it in your internal root directory, then open the update app, then install the update from the root directory.

force it to stay. Go to your About screen, then keep tapping on internal information or something like that. Choose the SIM, now go down and change the network type to wcdma only.
