Either way today was not his best day he gave away the goal and misplaced a few passes.

He lost possession but there was plenty of opportunities for his teammates to recover. And his deflected header led to the 3rd goal.

Based on stats, he was the third best player on the pitch and still put in 5 tackles. That is still a pretty high return..

If not for the pass that caused the Hull goal he'd prolly have been around 8.8. Very clean game he had. This guy won the ball. I still feel Onazi is a better ball winner but Ndidi is fast catching up with every passing game. And he's even more fluid with the ball. But he should learn to initiate more quick breaks with passes on the floor and not on the air. The time it takes to control an air pass makes the defenders catch up..... All round I'm being sold on this guy with every passing game.

He made a mistake but had a good game. If he can improve on some aspects, he will be world class.

This was something i said in the first half. After the goal he lost confidence that is what i was talking about.

Correction, he already is world class. I don't know the game that some of us watched, but if it was this particular game, the lad was brilliant, not outstanding but brilliant. He lost the ball sparingly and yet people complain, me I don't know what else to say

Musa is being chased out of the team at Leicester. He's not in the squad for today's game again. The players must really hate him.

I av explained before now dat dis is not an hate game on musa....it's wat he brings to the team dat has placed him dere for now....Ndidi is a fellow Nigerian and is growing in leaps n bound in same team....wen musa steps up,he will get his chance!

Passing is not particularly the strongest part of his game. But he had a decent game in general.

And someone will tell me Isaac Success and Osimhen deserves a call-up ahead of Aluko and Onyekuru. Mtcheww!

Even the English coaches of the youth English teams overlooked Iwobi. Will you call it bribery and corruption? Give the coach time. Talking bribery and corruption so early because some players you want are not in the list does not work for me.

When I talk about English football corruption it's sometimes a lot more sophisticated than just out right bribery. There are a whole range of issues conflicted interests, protectionism, preferred agents, backhanders, etc, etc

I consider racism and undue favoritism as forms of corruption.

But when we come to Nigeria I don't have to tell anyone one here what is possible and what is generally obtainable. There is no need.

With regards to Iwobi being overlooked that is not surprising, I believe that Iwobi is an excellent player but I also recognised that we rate him far higher than the English selectors do.

Of course he is. I will keep saying it that Osimhen has no place on that list. Someone like Adi could have replaced him.

Nope he isn't. I've watched him and he isn't that great. I'd rather invite Kayode instead.

Oh please. You kept quiet when players from backward leagues like South Africa, Bosnia and Cyrus are invited but you think MLS is not deserving. You believe a player who has not tasted professional league action is more deserving than one of MLS top scorers? Even Brazil has invited players from MLS before. Mexico, US, Uruguay, Columbia have got players in the league that Adi outperforms.

Adi is not better than Nacho, Ighalo, Ideye, Kayode heck even Aaron Samuel. This is the same Adi who was invited against Egypt and didn't even make the matchday squad because he was horrible at training. Adi is just decent at best. I stand by that.

He was horrible, says who? What's your source?

I can see all the people you listed but that's you changing the goal post. What brought about this discussion is if it makes sense to call up Osimhen, who has not played a professional game, instead of a top scorer in MLS? All these other names you're calling, I've never argued for them not to be called instead of Osimhen at this time, so you can't drag me into that debate.

Osimhen is a young prospect being groomed. We already have experienced players. If you're complaining of him being called, you should be calling Kayode who's played and scored in the europa league and has been doing well and not Adi. There's nothing to see with Adi
Here is the article...I believe this was discussed on here sometime ago http://owngoalnigeria.com/2016/03/30/eagles-coaches-regret-dropping-home-base-players-for-adi-and-samuel/

I didn't watch the Liverpool vs Arsenal game so I can't give a detailed analysis of Iwobi's performance.
However, from the game stats, Iwobi attempted 31 passes, 30 of those passes were accurate.
Quite a remarkable data in my opinion.

The same article quoted unnamed local coaches saying Aaron Samuel could not perform basic drills for strikers. You believe that? The same Aaron we know?

So why did you ask us to invite Aaron when the article says both of them were terrible in training?

You saw where I said "heck even Aaron Samuel". Besides it's a no brainer really...Kayode and Aaron Samuel are better than Adi...no one would argue this.

Still a mystery why this guy is yet to be capped. He doesn't deserve the snub he has been getting.
In all honesty, I wouldn't pick Sareen Bazee ahead of Kayode. Could be a master stroke no doubt to cap Bazee ahead of Germany but....

Onyekuru played as a striker in the first half and showed some nice touches and beautiful runs but his team were outplayed.

In the second half, Sylla was brought on and Onyekuru played from the wings.

Samuel Kalu very skillful and dangerous all through.. Potential world class player. Honestly, I think he is better than Simon Moses.

of a truth I doubt if those local coaches assisting rohr knows their job at all....because their input is not been felt...they should be as well scouting players both home and abroad.... that's why I fear greatly should CHAN be left at their control rather rohr should work with them in full scale

Chai! Sad news. Mikel lost 2-0 in his debut match while Ighalo's team got smashed 5-1.
I really fear for that Mikel team...a team that lost almost all it's pre season matches....well what's most important is Mikel having regular playing time to keep fit...but I think he never choosed the right club with a good winning mentality in China... and that gonna have a psychological effect on his games including national team football

Osimhen is in the first team of Wolfburg, Do you think Adi can make the first team of Wolfburg? Same argument against some home based strikers, would they make Wolfburg first team?

Wolfsburg have three strikers in their first team

Mario Gomez
Borja Mayoral
Victor Osimhen

Osimhen is just coming back from injury and will get his chances this season.
