How has it been all these days? I am now on ghost mood and its thrilling.
My experiments are yielding fruits and it will surely be of benefit to many in the nearest future.
One thing I have watched with keen interest is how people jump from pillar to post in search of eggs this period. Yes, egg are scarce but not as we think.

Have you taught of any formula to deploy against this? Its not rocket science however not planning for tomorrow is the case. Of course we the distributors cannot beat the farm owners in this game. As much as distributors keep looking for the best bargain, the farmers will always laugh longer.

Congratulations to new entrants. It has been series of up and down. Do not lose hope. It will only get better. It has been my wish to help out in times like this but I am highly constrained due to some acts that has plunged me into wahala before. Someone will ask you to help source the product for them only for them to say sorry I got it elsewhere. After few experiences, I just do not do that again. So if I have said no to your request do not be annoyed.

One day we shall form a union and see how best to regulate the market if possible.

Moreso, some of the egg distributors are so greedy, they want to make profit more than the farmers that took risk in raising their birds, risk of capital, salaries to staffs, to mention few, most of distributors needs to bare one thing in mind that, in time like this scarcity period, you dont aim for large margin, what should be your primary aim is to be consistent with your customers, try to make sure you always have supplies because as the day goes by, we are having new entrant in this business and there is possibility that the new entrant snatch away your customers, for example, you see some distributors would get egg for 1000-1,050(landing cost) and wants to distribute same for 1,200, they wants to make profit of 150/crate, whereas the farmer or depot hardly make profit of 30-50/crate after all expenses. In a nutshell, in times like this, profit of 70-100 is enough so as to keep your customers for the period of glut, consistency matters most in this egg distributing business.

I was in a farm settlement week, the wonderful thing was that the manager I went to see gave me a kick but as I was about to leave out of curiosity I went to say hi to other farms where I have been rejected before - Lo and behold, I got 3 farms where they have been increasing my what I go go home with.

Well people that operates an egg depot just have marginal profit of 20/30.what we rely on is the turnover.

You can make more than that if you want to.
The trick is in how you buy.

N70 on the average is not bad - I have been in that region since I started the business. I do slash when there are invaders in my territory.
