Lululuv, I was contracting from 25wks too, as a jjc, tot it was normal till doc examined and detected it, he placed me on some pink tabs for some weeks, can't remember d name and the contraction stopped. Also don't be anxious dear, just be calm and obey docs order, drink water, sleep and take one step at a time esp if you work. you go born your pikin safely by God's grace.

Off topic, pls who knows where they sell bean flour that hasn't been mixed with anything. I once bought the packet ones but the moimoi I made from it was a disaster. Someone told me I can buy beans and take it to some people to grind it to flour, so I can store it, who knows where I can find these grinders in Lagos . Beans grinding spoilt my last blender and I don't want to continue it with my new blender, but I want moimoi. Please who does this flour method, and does it taste the same?

Lolz how did you mix the bean flour before using? You need to let it sit for sometime after mixing with water to get the desired texture.


To make your own bean flour soak qnd wash the beans to get tge skin off the beans, you dont have to separate the chaff, drain and let it sun dry for some days and take to the mill. You can store in an airtight container to use whenever you want.

I use this Kenwood smoothie pro* to grind achi, beans, rice, egusi and my fruit and vegetables drinks. It's very durable and has been working g fine for more than 5years.

You must have moved to Zaria by now, how was the trip, hope boo is finally done with the marriage rites and all. Just stumbled on this thread today and having read a few pages, it is a must join for me. I lost a set of twins last year October at exactly 19 weeks.
I suddenly just started having contractions and was rushed to the hospital. On getting there, they immediately checked to see if the membrane had ruptured it happened that that was the case. Next thing blood started gushing out. I was rushed into the delivery room. It took 3 doctors to finally why I was bleeding so much. The placenta had detached. I delivered the twins they lived for only an hour cos they were too young to be incubated. I almost hemorrhaged to death but GOD so kind HE saved my life. Blood was transfused to help regain what was lost.
I am now 12 weeks pregnant and again it's twins. I really don't know what to do. Whether to do a cerclage or not.
Scheduled to see my gynecologist on Wednesday to see what he advises.
But any advice from the house will be appreciated.
Also how do I join Team September.

welcome. U will not cast your young again in Jesus name. You can do a scan first to check d state/length of ur cervix. When my doctors were suspecting I had an incompetent cervix due to a previous miscarriage , they placed me on serial scans. I did the first one at 12 weeks and I kept going back every 2-3 weeks to check d length of my cervix. Doc said anything less than 3cm and they would do a cerclage. I never did get to that point thankfully. Ur gyne will recommend a cerclage if u need it

Thanks so much for the detailed reply. I'd check for the kenwood first, looks good and five years is no joke, just hope I can afford it when I find it lol, I see dooneyskitchen on Instagram performing wonders with these kenwood gadgets, I won't mind having some.
