WTF is Saraki working to improve power supply for, is that his job?

No one in Nigeria seems to know the actual functions of the legislature.

The legislature is ignorant of its own duties, the executive does not know, journalists do not know, our legal practitioners do not know and obviously the citizenry is fully unaware. Thus the legislature continue to get away with all sorts of nonsense like this!

How does Saraki and Bunch of mainly PDP Senators visiting Germany going to improve power in Nigeria? Can someone explain?

Truth is that this is smokescreen for imperialist agents within the senate to meet and discuss their next move with their imperialist masters after the imperialist have done somthing to PMB in the UK that is preventing him returning to or communicating with Nigeria or Nigerian masses.

The passing of the budget that has been with NASS for 3 months should be their priority right now, but the NASS cannot pass PMB's budget.
PMB's budget is aimed at developing infrastructure and Nigeria and imperialist want to put a stop to that.

Imperialist need to stop Buhari's plan to develop Nigeria that is why Osinbajo would need to be inaugurated as president before the Senate will pass the budget, so that the budget could be amended as Osinbajo and his imperialist masters want and Osinbajo can replace those members of the FEC that imperialist do not approve.

Who wants to bet that this weekend it is likely that a big announcement is made about Buhari and his presidency whether they claim he has resigned or he has died.

Of course they could always continue the lie and claim that PMB phoned Osinbajo and approved the re-written budget; as something tells me that the imperialist will not want a state funeral for PMB if PMB is dead , so they may continue to claim he is sick in the UK.
A more likely option is that the claim that he resigned on the orders of his doctors. That way Osinbajo would not be obliged to give him a state funeral.

This weekend is my prediction of when the big news will happen.

May the gods of our ancestors gives us the all the strength, wisdom and courage to defeat the evil plans to destroy us Africans.

Another money to his account from trip to Germany. Why not go to south-africa which is close by and ask them how they did it.
henryanna36:
Saraki was in Germany to source for ways to boost Nigeria power supply. He said....

'Yesterday, As part of my official visit to Berlin, Germany. I visited a German Village, Feldheim, where residents combine efforts and local resources to produce clean and renewable energy.

Power supply remains top in the agenda of the Senate as it is a key instrument for eradicating poverty and unleashing the potentials of the people. That is why we had a workshop on power sector last month. It is also why we are here to see the experiment and success of the people of Feldheim and see what our people can learn from it.

We have to amend the laws to allow communities to generate energy that is more than 10 megawatts and even the laws about power transmission and distribution have to be amended to allow more creativity and involvement from the private sector.

While briefing the delegation, Project Manager of the facility, Werner Frohwitter said the project was one in which "citizens take their energy supply into their own hands" as they contributed money to build bio-gas plants which use slurry and manure from their pigs and cows and wind farms.

He added that though the village has a population of 140 people, it hosts  about 4,000 visitors yearly comprising students, politicians, researchers, scholars and journalists who want to learn about how the people's efforts led to the generation of 10mw of electricity, from which they sell the excess to the national power grid.

Frohwitter said Feldheim is now a community which produces "safe, local, economic and ecological supply of heat and electricity organised by and under the responsibility of the citizens independent from the grids of conventional power utility companies".

The Senate delegation, on return to Berlin on Wednesday night, also had a discussion with Mr. Thomas Silberhorn, the Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister for Economic Co-operation and Development on how to foster economic exchange between the European giant and Nigeria'.

If you want to improve power, just bring back all the money you stole from the public purse. Only that effort will quadruple our current generation capacity. Forget about that your excursion to Germany.

Imagine the number of the entourage on a first class air travel and first class hotels in Germany. The cost of this wasteful journey is more than enough to lit several communities on a 24hrs. uninterrupted power supply.
The solution to power problem in this country is to remove corruption to the barest minimum as corruption can not be totally eliminated in Nigeria.

Don't be fooled guys, Saraki is a snake and has no loyalty but to his accumulation of wealth. This is nothing but a launch for a "Presidential Bid" by stealth.

Coming on the backdrop of the "Mere Commissioner" receiving positive rave reviews, and positive feedback.

God bless Osinbajo, I have absolute faith in this man and he is capable of performing a lot more efficiently.

We need to demand a lot more from Osinbajo, he is intelligent, efficient and capable of delivering.

God bless "ALL" the peoples of Nigeria

Within a week of the EU (particularly Germany) asserting the support for a Marshall Plan for Africa with the development of enhanced Power (Electricity) generation capability being part of the backbone of their plan, we have Saraki et al visiting Germany.

We have to make noise and protest to the EU that any financial aide to enhance our Power infrastructure has to be monitored in order to mitigate the risk of the funds being siphoned into private bank accounts.

Saraki is wealthy enough and extremely shady. Enough is enough!

Line 2: "where residents combine efforts and local resources to produce clean and renewable energy".

What exactly does Sariki mean by this statement

The summary of his visit invariably is that residents of Nigeria should put efforts together to produce electricity, abi?

But sir, we are already producing electricity. Most of us are our own PHCN.
