Its a two toed sloth. Very slow hence why you could kill it. their legs and hands are carved so they can climb branches of flowers and shrubs as a result. Next time dont kill a sloth, it's a sloth cause it's slow and its unharmful. it isnt a bush baby pls...

Because it's in Nigeria, only if it was in advanced countries, like here in the U.S, you would have been asking that question from jail.
That's so cruel and savage, these are animals/wild lifes that are going extinc, that need to be secured and preserved, but you guys wanna eat them all up. Good luck to you. I weep for my people.

it is a lie. sloths are prevalent in Nigeria but because they are slow , they keep themselves hidden. I feel sad for that thing..

Now that you've killed it. will you make some suya with it or whats the plan? a burial?

I don't understand why you guys always flare up whenever you hear or read about someone killed wild animal or fish including venomous snakes that strayed into the compounds or animal barns. Are we all animals rights activists in Nigeria now or are we all now vegetarians? Human beings population can't be controlled through killings, we get it. Should we now start using family planning for animals to control their population?

Ask the Tasmania tiger. It is gone forever.

What will become extinct will become extinct. E.g. Mammoth and co. But the way we see this thing on nairaland irritates me. Even if you killed snake in your compound, they would complain. Haba!

It's sloth. It's a very endangered species. About six species of its kind have gone into extinction.

You should've just let it be, if someone try to catch you nkoo what will you do? You expect the animal to lie down and say oya come catch me, it might have wives, babies, brothers and sisters to return to and you just killed it for no reason except that the animal will not allow you to catch it alive... Anyways, that is a whole life you just took just because you can. That is sad and pathetic my brother. Go to church/mosque and confess your sins.

nice question let me help him out the worms in his stomach were running amok in order to save his intestines he has to give them its flesh. But op pls save it for the vegetative dog he may need on his return. So he wont take his tablets on empty stomach. Who knows the gesture will save you from efcc that will be on the loose from tomorrow. Welcome to the mayor of london in advance
