sincerely Madam, you have no worries except it can be proven that either you suffer from dementia, drunkenness or an unfit mother. a court won't give custody of a baby to the father except that can be proven. if the child was older then it will be a different story.
now I will advise you go to any child welfare office in the town you reside in and ask for child support from the dad, be willing to give supervised access to the child to him. and am sure courts will see that you are not preventing him from seeing the child.
PS this rule supports you whether the child was born illegitimately or otherwise

in addition to legalexpert's solution, avoid being setup for an emotional drama that could label you mentally unstable as his lawyer knows you would lose your baby on such grounds. this is how our people lose their kids to foreign countries.

First step, don't show any form of weakness with him. Look confident like you have something up your sleeve then begin run your runs behind curtains. Alausa Ikeja Lagos would definitely have a public defender office or give you info on where to look. A confident woman is a winner...No responsible court awards custody of a baby, possibly lactating, to his father. So long as those allegations aren't can't be proven o. It is well.
