BREAKING: Buhari arrives Kaduna, flown to Abuja in chopper

About 24 hours after the opening of the Kaduna airport as alternative to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport closed for six weeks for the repair of the runway, President Muhammadu Buhari who had been out of the country since January 19 on medical reasons arrived the airport.

According to presidency sources and media report, Mr. President arrived some three hours ago, that is sometime around 4am.

After his arrival that wasn’t made so elaborate, he was flown off to Abuja in a presidential helicopter.

President Muhammadu Buhari has admitted that he decided to return to Nigeria on Friday, so he can continue to rest over this weekend.

Buhari returned to the country 49 days after he left on a medical vacation to the United Kingdom.


Before he left, he transferred powers to his Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo, who has earned plaudits for how he handled the role.

Buhari has now said Osinbajo would continue to work, while he looks after himself.

He also told those who are planning to come and see him, to stay back and continue to pray for the country.

The President also hinted that he would be doing some follow-ups on his health in a few weeks

i think a strong dollar supports crude, strong crude empowers CBN reserves and therefore we may continue to see this disjointed forex system with unscheduled special intervention at all markets

i think a strong dollar supports crude, strong crude empowers CBN reserves and therefore we may continue to see this disjointed forex system with unscheduled special intervention at all markets

Sorry a strong dollar will drive down commodities prices including Oil and Gold.A strong dollar will drive down all currencies pairs against the dollars.The perception of a strong dollars has created a bullish sentiment since the beginning of this week.
