Guys, btw the xiaomi redmi note 3 special edition and the leeco coolpad 1, which would you advice I get. Xiaomi main points: 1.) Supports Glo 4g (my main sim) 2.) Can use two sims/one sim & sdcard, but with this adapter https://m.aliexpress.com/s/item/32788674545.html you can use two sims and an sdcard together. 3.) Single 16mp camera 4.) Does not have quick charge by default but can be enabled by flashing a custom kernel though I'd like to avoid this. 5.) Hexacore snapdragon processor 6.) Difficult to see replacement screen (152mm) and good case. Leeco coolpad 1: 1.) Does not support glo 4g 2.) Can use two sims but no sdcard support at all 3.) Dual 13mp camera 4.) Has quick charge and usb c by default 5.) Octacore snapdragon processor. 6.) Easy to find replacement screen and good cases Which is better |

Dudeonyx: Oga no go spoil your phone with that adapter you quoted. That's extreme na. If your main sim is glo, go for the special edition. 1 Like |

princetom1:Too many marketers plus greed killed that thread, used to be my favourite thread in Technology market. Those days you need latest info about foreign exchange that's the thread to check, but not you ask a question, you hardly get quick response. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Dudeonyx: 4:15pm On Mar 11, 2017 |
fibonacci2526: My main issue with the special edition is that it almost impossible to find replacement screen if yours cracks. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by princetom1(m): 4:16pm On Mar 11, 2017 |
Dudeonyx: If money isn't barrier, and GLO isn't a deal breaker, go for the cool 1 64 gig version, it's less than 210 usd in a store, and why do u wanna use that SIM adapter? U wount be able to use case with ur phone. Or better still, u will force a case on it and damage the case fast or the xase too sef 1 Like |

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by mike234: 4:20pm On Mar 11, 2017 |
yasolan:Dial *#06#. You are supposed to se the MEID and two different IMEI. If the meid is missing then thats the cause. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Dudeonyx: 4:21pm On Mar 11, 2017 |
fibonacci2526: Actually my current phone is an infinix zero 1 which I've used for 2½ years without ever cracking the fragile screen, but still why take chances |

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 5:11pm On Mar 11, 2017 |
Dieumerci:Even though its 20mp nothing will make a midrange phone perform excellently in the camera department, plus when we say the quality is average, doesn't mean that it is bad, should almost be better than the redmi note 3 pro sef or on par. Since the screen is large, you easily spot out imperfections in picture quality. Those with Mi max send you pics to devices with smaller screens, you will likely get the impression of a better image. Lastly, never rate camera quality by megapixels, its the quality of the sensor that matters most, otherwise Samsung Galaxy s5 would have a better camera than Galaxy s7. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Gptech: Maybe after seeing this, he can see too that it's camera CAN perform wonders too Dieumerci: Take a look here and tell me what u think https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-max/how-to/photos-mi-max-t3410077 |

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 5:38pm On Mar 11, 2017 |
princetom1:Yeah, the camera is really good in good lightning environment, perhaps some persons will never know why we rate the camera performance average |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by princetom1(m): 5:38pm On Mar 11, 2017 |
noobody: Mehn, this max is awesome, i have even compare it to other phones with similar screen but no one is close at all. The battery is bae |

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 6:16pm On Mar 11, 2017 |
princetom1:There is no device currently with same size that beats the Mi max in form factor, performance, and even battery endurance, and lastly price/value ratio. I will gladly modify if anyone can prove me wrong. Have seen offerings from Lenovo phab, Asus, Huawei, and others, none has an advantage over the Mi max based on the above mentioned points. |
